- An Open Letter to Alexander Hassoon, Rent-A-Server Producer
Chew on this one. Our servers are no longer getting QM players. RSP is useless. I will be asking for a refund on the servers.- An Open Letter to Alexander Hassoon, Rent-A-Server Producer

While we're still tracking quite a number of issues in the build, we're tackling the bugs one by one, and hope to release the update in upcoming weeks. Apart from fixes and maintenance, there are some additions coming in this patch, too. More on them later in this report. Hello, everyone I thought I would take a moment and let you all know what we have been doing to get our own servers online. As many of you know, it has been a cluster frack to date, so here is where we stand now:. Bad News: - We have limited access to the servers as seen here . - All we can do is name the server and give it certain attributes/settings. - They screwed map selection, so all we can do is add 6 of the nine available maps at any given time - There is no admin panel, so we cannot admin the server (e.g. kick/ban/move) Good News: - I have rented two servers on the East Coast, placing one of them running Hardcore mode, and one running Normal Ranked Mode The-Armory.net [TAC] HARDCORE Conquest | East Coast #1 The-Armory.net [TAC] Conquest | East Coast #2 Eventually, we will have the following capabilities: Because of all the complaints, they made a quick fix for Hardcore, and told us to type in the settings manually to mirror the DICE Hardcore servers. Well, we did just that, but the Quick Match (QM) function of the browser does not place QM players into the server. It takes 20 players to start a server., so that is why you see us running Normal Mode at this time. They said they will be making it a "Preset" soon, which will then allow us to receive QM players. Until then, we are running Normal Mode. I am just as frustrated as the rest of you, but have faith until we get all of these issues resolved. Larry Kemp ( Gatornade)- Been thinking about this game for a while.
It's a great game, but it is more geared to player vs. bot, however, they do have PvP, but the game gets laggy when that occurs. There are many of us who have the game, and I am sure we will return to it in the near future.- Rental Server Program (RSP)
Yes, soon! That's what Ali Howsoon said. lol- Aim assist legal in BF1 now!
From what I understand they are aware and will be addressing this issue (if it wasn't already in the recent patch)- Rental Server Program (RSP)

All I read is blah blah blah. Where are the rented servers? Where is Hardcore?- Video: Luciano Pavarotti & James Brown - It's a man's world
You can rate the video here: Luciano Pavarotti & James Brown - It's a man's world- Admins Wanted!
No, not the entire clan roster. The current BF1 roster only! I'm only trying to get things lined up for the new BF1 server rental. Admins need to be on hand to help those in TS, where they can build a rapport with their fellow clan members. A clan is not just a website and a clan tag, but a group of people enjoying each other's company while playing as a team. Avoiding TS is not the type of steward I am looking for. I hope that helps.- Admins Wanted!
There should be no confusion. If we need to ban someone, for example, you must be able to chat to other players and admins to assist you in the assessment of a suspected cheater. I am only using those who actively participate in Teamspeak. So if the shoe fits... There is no TAC Member guidelines link. Why would you ask that? This topic pertains to Admins- Admins Wanted!
Admins must be in Teamspeak to admin the server. Please read the "Admin Guidelines" here. Some of you do not use TeamSpeak, and so your names may be removed from the roster.- Teamspeak Changes
We were having problems with people coming in the channels wanting to strike up a casual conversation. It is hard to execute squad tactics while listening to someone yak yak yak about things not related to gameplay. We no longer have TeamSpeak sync, so we have to come up with better ways to discipline the communications. I already have about 3 players permanently muted, because I cannot hear command and direction from any of my squad mates because of the belching, burping, farting. The playing of music or using the voice-activated talk makes it so the listeners hear everything happening in a user's household. If you have a better suggestion, please enlighten us.- OPREP - AI Path-following Improvements
UNIT: Krzysztof Bielawski, Senior Programmer, Programming Dept. TO: Arma 3 Users OPSUM: Introducing the latest AI path-following improvements for wheeled vehicles. EVALUATION: Over the course of many years of development, Artificial Intelligence in the Arma series has grown into a very sophisticated system. For example, computing a route and following it on any terrain - be it a vanilla or a modded one - is, generally, something the AI manages to pull off on a daily basis. They are able to control multiple types of vehicle, be aware of enemies and dangerous areas, and navigate on roads and across bridges - all while avoiding collisions - but not always in the most effective manner. As the number of options for the AI grew, the number of issues, edge cases, rare configurations and parameters rose as well. Plus, with the Apex[arma3.com] expansion and its terrain, Tanoa[arma3.com], having unique bridges, the amount of the tweaks necessary for smooth gameplay increased drastically. Thus, it was finally time to re-address our AI path-finding. Full Report[dev.arma3.com]View the full article- SITREP #00180
FROM: High Command TO: Arma 3 Users INFO: Clean Sweep, Bohemia Incubator, Game Developers Session PRECEDENCE: Flash SITUATION The development team is now fully focusing on a clean sweep of the game. This means that for the next couple of weeks we're solely fixing bugs, focusing on performance and minor, yet long-standing issues, and polishing the game. As a consequence, all of the work is under a lock - only approved and manually selected pieces of data get in the final game and the rest has to wait until the lock is released. The plan is to finish this sweeping period by delivering Update 1.66. Hopefully, after we have results of some first build checks done by our Quality Assurance, we'll be able to publish the Release Candidate[dev.arma3.com] by the end of this week.
