If they do advertise, I believe it will happen during map changes. Kind of what we see now with the Demo when the show all the upcoming BF2142 maps. As far as spyware, I would think that they would have an option to disallow this type of action. If not, I foresee a big lawsuit coming out of this.

I enjoy playing the BF2142 Demo, but lets say we play a few days of Special Forces on our server before we switch over on Wednesday. I will be trying to get the BF Special Forces server up and running tonight, so please join me. :banana:

Very nice Klink, but I have one question for you. You and K_town gave the Demo the lowest score of "4", so do you still stand by this score after learning the deep dark secrets of the game?

Its not a rumor ...they have officially stated they are working on the system and disconnects will happen.

I don't mind the ramming, but what sucks is that the rammer gets points for the kill(s). Thats right, he hits a transport full of 7 players and he will get 7 points. I notice this was a real problem on the Demo, and I only hope DICE is aware of this and fixes it before the retail release.

Updated post with map names. Looking at the maps on the BF2142 site, it looks like most of them are city maps for the most part.

The Armory server will be up and running on Wednesday the 18th, and we are already planning the Armory server setup. The map cycle is very important, so we need to make a few decisions here. We will be able to run both Titan and Conquest modes on "some maps", so I was thinking we should run all maps and modes for the first day, so we can find out what maps are good and what maps are stinkers.
