They were ok, but it was meant as a freindly game, so whoever was available at the moment played. No team in FA has ever played are "A" team as of yet

The match was against Ln$. We started to play on our server, but some of their members comlained of lag (hmm), so we agreed to move to their server. After moving to their server, I realized they were renting from the same data center company as the Armory, so it was a waste of time for the move. After we entered their server, some of their players still complained about lag on their server, and I must say it was very distracting to me. They were were using CD 4.2, and I must say that some of their players were making incredible shots...and I will leave it at that. After playing against the good friends at DoL....well, I will just leave that alone. IF we ever play against them again...it will be on our server. I found a new plugin for the Forums and installed it last night. When you go to the Main Forums page, look at the bottom of the page and you will see everyone who has visited within the last 24 hours. Its just a "Gee Wiz" kinda thing. Thought it might be cool so I installed it...hehe

Welcome to the server and thanks for joinging are little family (the TA forums). You will find that we have a language ban for many reasons, all for the good though. If you could only hear me behind the mic, your jaw would drop, but I don't need to key the Mic. We want to have a friendly server, and the absence of bad language helps that cause...and we like to keep it that way.

Ijust restarted it...looks like WON went doen, so I had to stop and restart it

I updated the "Gallery" to the latest verison, and the good new is that all registered users can upload their pics/images to the Gallery. An added new feature is that users can add/edit/delete to mention a few. The bad news is, the Random Screens do not work any longer. I will be working on that in the next few days. I don't think it is compatable with the new Gallery.For those of you who have sigs on the forums from other sites, I must tell you that your images are no longer visable. The IE browser stores all of the images in a "cache" and you see them, but others do not. Please delete you "Files" from the browser and you will see. If images are not showing, please fix them because they look real tacky We have the abilty for you to store your images here, so make use of the feature. Also, please be sure to use the correct album when posting.

Nobody seems to be using the Armory Chat, so I was thinking of removing it from the website. Your thoughts?

I love it...that is exactly what I have been trying to say all along. There is no way to regulate something that is not defined to begin with. When people talk "map exploits" it always seems to be the hills on Golan (give me break). How can you define and regulate something that could be interpreted 1000 different ways? They have to do better than that. As you know, there are more than a hundred different FA maps out there...each of them very unique. My policy stated above was intended to give admins some leeway while performing there Admin duties. The Admins want to have fun also, not police each and every infraction a player makes. The "map exploit" issue is a prime example of an unmanageable situation. Server Admins can't effectively monitor and control something when there is absolutely no clear or definitive resource to reference from. The problem here is that people forget that it is just a damn game, and players need to realize just that. The same people who complain about the "map exploits" seem to complain about everything else. Just go play the game...be nice to others...stop the whining, and just simply have a good time. It's just as simple as that

Map Exploit Defined: When a player intentionally maneuvers himself/herself to a location on a map where an opponent does not have a resonable chance of retaliating. Senior ranking Admin "on-duty" will be the deciding factor in each case. Once the decision is made, players must follow the Admins final decision. Any whiners after that point will be ask to leave.

Thanks for taking the time to read my message in the downloads Ky. Ky was just pointing out that we have provided information in the downloads section that will be of assistance. I would recommend others do the same....lesson learned
