No, it was the Wednesday before last, but Gator was tired and did not update it yet. Gator will, however, update the mapcycle tomorrow with some new 3rd party map surprises.

If you read my post, you would understand that we have returned to the old way of recruiting. The player signs up, and then he is observed. If we like him, we will ask him/her to join. For those who have received acceptane trial emails....we will honor those....like yours

We opened our doors for TA membership about a week ago, and we were overwhelmed by over 50 applications. Yes, we had over 50 players sign up to be in the clan. Our initial thought was to allow those applicants a 30-day temporary Trial? membership where we would select who would stay and who would go. But after review of the application process, we have decided to return to our old way of recruiting clan members. Players wanting to join the clan will continue to sign up on the "Join TA" link on the main homepage, but members will only be allowed in after an approved vote from all the Admins and Senior Counsel members. This is a slow process, but it will ultimately allow for better players in the long run. For those who have already been contacted, we will honor the 30-day trail. For all the regulars that have been playing at The Armory for the past months, and did not receive an acceptance letter, please don't worry. We will give you guy's priority in the membership vote.ThanksGator

We recently made a major shift in recruitment here at The Armory, and because of my haste, I did not inform everyone of the new policy regarding this matter. Sometimes I am so busy trying to make things nice and happen fast, that I sometimes forget to do important stuff like consult and inform, but I am only human. New TA members will be selected early-on from their online application (unless we have already had problems with them). They will be placed on a 30-day trial period where admins and TA members will observe their conduct on the server. After the 30-day trial period, trial members will be put up for vote to see if they are TA material. It will be then be decided if a new recruit will become permenent or not. Some may be ask to leave, while others may need an extension on their trial period. I would like to welcome all new TA members, and wish them success in the coming days of their trial period.Regards,GatorP.S.
