I added some new files to the download mod, so you should not have to do anything to get it to work now. All is good :lol:Also, if you need a little more space for downloads, please let me know and I can increase your download limit

Well, I got to fly my daughter in for Christmas and see her, and had my whole family together as well.... my best Christmas to date

Specifically, what is buggy about it? I played it about a half-dozen times and it plays well.

I had to do a lttle research, but I found how you can see our desert Combat server in HLSW:69.93.1.190:14567:23000Cut and paste this and you will see it.For BF1942 and Desert Combat, you must add the numbers "23000" at the end of the server IP:port address as shown above.

Nice website by the way :mrgreen: I loaded 6F yesterday, and I am now running a 12 players test server at 69.93.1.190:14567 THE ARMORY www.fa-thearmory.net I am learning all of the server setup stuff and admin stuff before we actually launch. Please stop by when we start Anyone interested in stopping by, you can set you game filter for "armory" and you will see it, or use GameSpy ...This will be the same IP address when we lauch the server. we will start out with a 40-player server and see how it performs.

We are not switching over....we are going to play 1 or 2 time a week depending on popularity. We can Admin the server because it wll be ours...so no problem with lamers

Macgyver mentioned this mod to me a few weeks ago, and later helped me get set up playing. Mac and I agreed that we should play this on the server sometime, so we will start playing it soon. This willl mean shutting the main Armory server down while the game is active. Its a modern warfare game that is a "Mod" (modification) of Battlefiled 1942, just as Firearms is a "Mod" to Half-Life. You must have a copy of BF1942, but the mod "Desert Combat" is a free download. StateCop helped me figure out how to get it up and running, as we played it on our server for about 2 hours last night. I think I crashed 5 helicpters and 12 planes. StateCop crashed into on one flight,...so I won't count that one. Yes, you can drive tanks, fly planes, and engage in ground combat... GREAT FUN!

I upgraded the site yesterday, but the "Random Screens" block no longer works. Some of you may have noticed things while I was desperately trying to get the thing working. I am still trying, so please don't freak out if you see the site act a little wierd once in a while. Also, there is a new program comming out soon that is even better than this, so I may move us to the new program if I cannot get "Gallery" to display the block properly. If I do that, I will leave "Gallery" up for a while so you can download and upload your pics to the new program. The new program will allow private pic galleries if you so choose.Gator

It said on the news that if it went to an International War Tribunal, he would not be executed because they do not have the death penalty, so it may be tried in Iraq by the Iraq's. As far as the my opinion on the death penalty, well, one side of me thinks about the genocide he committed to hundreds of thousands of innocent people, so I will leave it at that. No matter what happens though, I think he will meet his master (Allah) in the near future anyway. Also, he still possesses much needed knowledge about the alleged chemical and nuclear weapons (if any really exists), his terrorist's connections, and knowledge about other mass grave sites around the country. I would imagine he will slow his fate as long as he can to survive by feeding little bits of information here and there. Just my thoughts

Once you get it running, be sure to right-click on program face and go to setup/options and select your IP to monitor. You can even setup remote to the Armory server at 69.93.1.186
