I am waiting on the Warhammer Online game to come out (hoping to get in the beta). I was just wondering if any of you were following this game and planned to play. It seems like it may be the World of Warcraft killer. According to one site it will be out in 115 days (from today). I am not sure if that is accurate but I hope so! I will try it after I get home from work later today. I am going to set a restore point JUST in case. The picture looks good...I have seen that listed as an example before. I got the 8800GTX card and I really do not want to go to vista...... BTW I didnt have time to loo very close but how does this install? I didnt see and exe or setup. I assume you drop it in a Win folder? It looks like a bunch of python scripts ect....

I just got the game this past week with my 8800GTX. It looks GREAT! I am running XP but I heard you could find a fix to get DX10 working on XP. I havent really looked...does anyone know if this is true?

I found this article very interesting. I have never played the game listed but having played WoW and having my account hijacked I can understand how this dude feels. Having said that I still don't think I could bring myself around to calling my local PD to report a theft. Simply WOW! I can only imagine getting a call like when I used to work at a local police department. BTW the game they are talking about someone stealing items from were Final Fantasy XI.

Kamikaze, It has been a long time :o I actually remember all that stuff ...well kind of. I cant believe it has been so long ago. I was trying to find some of my old post from 2002. I think I joined up like Aug or Sept 2002..sometime in there anyway.

I was on Dragonmaw as horde. My toon was Durkula. It is a great server and people are usually willing to help you unlike other servers. It is a pretty high population server.

I just cant see arresting him without intent of some soft. I mean unless he said he was using it for training to do a shooting IRL.... Just moronic. If this had been here and I had been around I would have had to ask the lead Inv.....WTF are you thinking? Is that all you have? Have you smoked a rock? Have you ever played an online game? Maybe you should think about retirement....ect ect.

As of yesterday I stopped playing WoW again.... Due to some health problems I just found out about I decided spending with my wife and kids are better than spending day after day in WoW. I just give away my account to a friend of mine who is still playing. I had got my netherdrake the day prior to finding out about my medical problems. I had Season 3 gear and season 2 gear. Not to mention mostly all epics on my resto shaman. I also had a 70 alliance lock on another server. While I enjoyed playing the game I suggest not getting into this game if you can help it. It will suck the life out of you! I am just playing COD4 a few hours here and there.

I would put the school year in the slanted and running up in the white. It looks pretty good...I just say that because looking back at my old ones some didnt have the year and after 15 or so years you will not remember either. 2007-2008 or something like that. Just a thought.

For Hardcore mode 22...maybe 24 at the MAX. BUT for the regular mode I like the bigger server (32 player)

I played it for a bit...after the OFFICIAL release and I am glad I didnt pay the extra 15 for the orange box hype. It is an ok game but not good enough to get me off the warcrack.

I played it for a while and is seems ok but I think I am going to stick to wow. Good idea but I am not sure if they are going to make it work.

So is that a good game?

Maybe...It may just be I need to get used to it.
