Did you try another server? They have a problem where if someone comes in and is lagging it lags everyone else. If that happens it even lags the hell out of my Quad Core 6700. That may have been the problem...I am not sure what the min spec is though...

Well, it takes some getting used to...It is no BF game that is for sure. I like the fact it is very tactical and realistic but that can be the down point from time to time. I hate getting killed and having to wait. Most of the time the rounds are not that long though. It just makes people work as a team more I think. I guess all and all I like it. I am off the Warcraft-crack again so I needed something to keep me clean! LOL

Nope, and I said the same thing.I tried the training though and it seemed a heck of a lot easier AND faster. I logged in and started playing. You cant beat the price though!

Do you guys plan to offer an America's Army 3 server? Or does anyone here play. It is a good game...not to mention free to play and free for the server files. It is much more tactical and CSS and some of the others but is none the less a great game for a great price (free).

Good point! I am not a big fan of the ATT network. I do however like the roll over minutes. If verizon ever got the ability to have the iphone on its network...oh BABY! I updated my iphone to the 3.0 firmware and really do not see that big of a deal. I mean the search is nice and copy/paste was a nice new feature. I am a little ticked off that MMS isnt going to work until later this summer nor will tethering. I bet they will jack the price up for tethering and most likely add some new package to get a little more money out of you for texting MMS pics ect. If they do that I may look at moving my iphone to Tmobile. I would need to unlock it but that is no big deal after they jail break 3.0.

So how many people are pumped about the new iphone 3.0 update tomorrow? Any iphone users around here? Word is the update may be out as early as 3AM EST. They are going to add MMS and some other stuff it should have had long ago but I cant wait. The tething not being ready for ATT customers SUCKS though... I guess they are going to try to milk us for more money. Just wondering if anyone is going to get the 3GS right away two days from now? I think I am going to wait a bit. For you non iphone people they are going to sell the 3G model for as low as $99 which is a great deal!

This is a multipart post I guess you would say.... 1. Do you Twitter? If so post your links 2. A suggestion to Gator... If it is possible to add a twitter user name to your profile much like someone can already do for xfire, AIM, yahoo, ect ect. A follow up would be the ability to link post from here in twitter like you can news stories...that would be WAY cool (if you dont already have that). Just some thoughts...Yeah I just got into twitter....better late than never. My iphone makes using twitter FUN. I can post pics and stuff while at work or otherwise. if you have it and want to add me @statecop . I am currently using twitterfon for the iphone. Does anyone have a better iphone app?

I signed up for the beta also. I would like to see how it goes. I would think you need a higher end connection to get in but I could be wrong.

I tried the first one and it was cool but VERY hard. I may give this one a try. I like a realistic game but the last one was almost to realistic to be fun.

Sorry it took me so long to respond to your post. I have had a lot of RL stuff going on. Getting the big D...moving out ect. I am now an acting supervisor for our special ops for the northern half of my state. Basically I turned my guild over to someone that was helping me run it and I am not even sure if he is still playing. I have not played a computer game in about 2 months. Just before I stopped playing I had rolled an order character on another server with a "friend" of mine. Now that I am not playing she also suspended her account. When I get all my RL stuff back in order I will most likely be back on. I did not go back to WoW nor do I know if I ever will.

I think you are talking about Warhammer 40,000. It is not the same game as Warhammer Online Jaydub. Warhammer 40k is a more futuristic type game. The one we are talking about is more sword and sheilds/magic. He is talking about this game: http://warhammeronline.com

That is true in most games, but I think with an MMO you have an edge being max level first IF you think the game is going to last. I think this game will be as big as WoW or very close to it. It still has some bugs to be worked out but it is pretty solid. I would caution that you want a fairly strong computer at least to run it on the highest settings.

SRT is a FPS group...we do not even use anymore. We just still have the site. Dont worry Joe this has no ties to SRT nor is it a recruitment ad. Just trying see if the people who are playing warhammer here, that I consider friends, a chance to play on the same server. Some of the old SRT guys do not even play on that server. I am smarter than that Joe. I wouldnt give you guys a real reason to ban me. @ Mec I am thinking about rolling an alt on your server. I will PST you as soon as I get it made. I just want to get back to gaming. This forum stuff gets a little old.
