Good idea Bad camera controls I am going to play it so far but right now I am going to say it is ok but nothing to write home about. They fix the camera controls to be more like wow or some of the other MMOs and they may have a winner here.

If you like the more futuristic stuff you may like it. I see where in that respect it was ok. If Bf2142 was as far toward the futuristic side as you like to go then I suggest you dot bother.

tried the day the demo come out. I hated it... I can sum it up like this: To futuristic waste of hard drive space waste of bandwidth to download thank GOD it was FREE. UNINSTALL

I was to until we tried Horde...I actually started out as Alliance and raided pre-bc (BWL, Nax, ect). The horde side is SOOO much better. People actually help each other out. Its crazy.....

As most of you know I went to playing WoW a while back and cant kick the habbit. Several of the people that used to play here and myself switch from alliance to horde. Now we are playing on the Dragonmaw server and have 70s (again). We are looking for someone who plays a priest that may be willing to transfer. Since we rerolled horde we have got our characters back up to par and are wanting to do guild only type raids in Kara but we are having an issue finding good priest. Soooo if you are interested let me know. We could also use druids and we do not have a rogue if you have any of those characters. Most of our guys have PVP epics and blues now. Not bad for just a few weeks from 1-70.

good game...pretty solid for a beta1 release. I think they are going to have to do something about the TKs and after that and the crashes are worked out I bet these guys will make money off this game just like CS and DoD. It reminds me of a cross between America's Armory and BF2 with that HL2 feel. I like it but you can get smoked fast!

I have been waiting on this mod for some time and it was released sometime yesterday. I am downloading it now to give it a try. Has anyone else tried it yet and if so what do you think? Does TA plan to put up a server for it? http://www.insmod.net/downloads

I played a rogue in vanguard. The clerics were the overpowered class in that game atleast as of a few weeks ago. I have a warlock I am now playing in WoW.

I stopped playing around lvl 13 or 14. I went back to WoW...... The game had some major issues with balance I couldnt get over. It is still a good game and I may come back to it when some of the bugs are worked out or I get sick of WoW again. BTW I was playing on a PVP server (thus balance issues).

While reading Biscuts review I see some points I agree with and some I do not. I would say it is more of diamond in the rough. It is just barely out of beta and was just release 2-3 weeks ago. The actual UI itself is layed out very similar to wow's standard UI (without mods). I think there will be mods out soon if there is not any already. The windows can be moved around when you pop them open so I am not really sure that is an issue for me anyway. I will say one thing the movements at times can be a little rough. This is because the game needs to be tweaked. This can be fixed easily by turning down the graphics. If you have high end card like mine it looks GREAT, but sadly even I had to turn it down until they tweak it some. The world is HUGE...I would say bigger than most any game out there. It makes wow look like BF2. Being a wow player I am sure you can understand size I am trying to descipe. I like the fact the crafting stuff can actually make useful crafting stuff unlike wow. Most of the stuff you make or pickup can be used and unless you bound it to you via a crystal then you can sale it on the AH when you are done with it. So in theory if you have a friend that is lower level you can hand down gear and weapons. Pros: HUGE world, boats, great crafting, cool quest, graphics, player owned property (houses/boats), very cool character page on their site. Cons: performance (needs tweaking..should be coming), not really good for a first MMO, sometimes the game is a little complex, bugs (new game stuff), PVP sucks (right now anyway). If you like to be know as the first to find stuff or find an area you will like this game because it takes a screenshot and will post on your character profile page for everone to see. It will tell if you were the first on that server or in the world (all the servers). This is not a good first MMO and I wouldnt suggest it to someone that has never played an MMO. I find it to a good place for someone who is bored with WoW but has a slightly higher IQ than the average WoW player. As for how detailed large fights are I couldnt honestly say as I have only made it to 12. I know what are are talking about though. I was in an end-game in WoW...we were doing AQ40 and Naxx prior to BC. If anyone gets the game or has the game we are playing on Varking (team pvp) server. I am also on a Vulmane (kind of like horde) I was tired of playing the good guys I guess.

It was out in beta. Everyone was was reset after the release. The release was last week...trust me I had one of the first copies in stores. I think Tuesday of last week. There were people playing Sunday night that preordered or did the direct to drive option. I never played EQ2 but the main dev is the guy that come up with EQ so yeah there is a lot of the same stuff I understand from people that have played. They took that up a few notches by adding in other things that you couldnt do in EQ or WoW. The key bindings are the same as WoW though as well as the quest log. They still have a lot of bugs to work out still but it seems pretty good to me. I check vgplayers the other night and the highest person (non-GM) was like 28. Granted that is after 1 week but it was only a few people that high last night. Those are the no life/job having people that play 24/7. I made it to 12 last night with some what normal play times. @Branlock ---BTW good state That area is pretty cool other than when IVAN or something like that comes blasting through.

I have been trying a new game called Vanguard and kicked the WoWcrack. Has anyone else tried it? If you have the game we are all playing on the server Varking (team PVP). I was also wondering if anyone had any of the free 10 day trial keys that they are not going to use. I give mine to another friend but I know some other people wanting to try the game.

I am sure our POW camp looks like a Holiday Inn when you look at what our guys went through.

I have several...most of which are old or former members..... Gator, strobes, Mac, LFM, Roach, RiverRat, Flipster...all the old guys I used to play with..you know who you are if I forgot someone. Some of the former include GeneralBordinko, ClaymoreCarl, WeaZel, Jasun.... I have to say JC and EaglezEye seems like a really cool new guy. These guys may not be that new...I am just speaking from having been around for 4.5 years or so.

I am on FireTree with a alliance warrior. I had (account got hacked) the ashkandi and almost all T2. I also had a good bit of aq40 dps gear. I have a 60 rogue also. I will not even get into my various 40s (warlock ect ect). I have about stopped playing too...my account got hacked and someone vendored every damn thing I had. It has been almost 1 month and they still havent replaced my gear. I am planning on turning my account of next month if they havent returned my gear. I agree with you on the new pvp system. That is why I come back to my first love...FPS! I think you were the first one to own me when I got this game after playing wow for about 8 months BTW we have a bunch of cops around here that play 2142 and WoW. We had about 4-5 of us in the same guild playing WoW. We all get on ventrilo and talk trash a good bit..you should join us sometime. I hang on the Armory ventrilo also from time to time
