All of my systems are clean. Come over and see for yourself.Quality not quantity of power is more important.I am running a 300 watt Antec right now in my system. I have others with Enermax and Enlight 300's.ALL have overclocked CPU's and videocards.I have even run a AMD system on an old 90watt Gateway ps. It ran till I was able to get a replacement.two weeks later.Given a choice I would take a 300 watt quality ps over a 650 watt no-name (eg. Powmax) any day.You are never going to max out all the rails on a ps. 3.3, 5, 12 all at the same time unless you have so many fans and lights that you are taxing your ps 12 volt rail which would draw power away from the other rails.

A ps is not as critical as it was before. These new XP chips do not draw the amps that they used to. The videocard and Mobo does now.You can get by easily with a good 300 watter. Dont get me wrong. A good 300 watter is great. A cheapo is not. A cheapo 500 watter is not either.They are critical but quality is more important.I have plenty of systems with 300 watters and they run fine and have been for two years.IBM has had problems with their drives. Remeber the 60gb Deckstar fiasco not too long ago.I would stay away from them for now.

Well it is somewhat simple. There is always something new coming out so...... Upgrade later when you need to. That means to a new MOBO, proc, PCI express vid card, and DDR2 in two years. This system will be fine till then. Just get a better videocard when you need one. Get a smallish HD and buy more when you need the room. Get the fastest memory NOW for AMD is going to a 400fsb proc. Get the XP 1800 oem and overclock it. . The ones Newegg have right now are going up to 2200 to 2400 mhz on good air cooling. Get a really good cooler. I recommend the Thermalright SLK900A with a 92mm fan Get a 80gb 8mb cache hd. Buy more when you need it. Not SATA. Get ATA133. It works. Get 512mb of PC4000 DDR Get a new case if you want. No soundcard or NIC is needed. In time get a new proc and mobo etc etc. Use the old parts for a second system. There is such a thing.BUT.......In real life. (I know this is a game) a sniper would be so well covered that it would be just as hard to hit or find that pesron.Bottom line is deal with it. There are always work arounds or challenges.Instead of complaining about things people. Find solutions to the problem. M79's. 2 snipers against the one working in tandem.
