If TA shuts down their server, FA will be dead. TA was the *only* server bringing in new people; and even then...not so much lately. The other major servers have already shut down/are currently shutting down/shutting down very soon. PoP's server runs out at the end of the month; couple other servers are dying fairly soon, too. No point in continuing to run 32 FA servers when you've got maybe 60 people in the community left.

Heh, no joke there. My main machine died on me friday night, started working on it. Finally got it to boot up with the third-HD, booted into 95 (EEK!). Had to reformat my two main drives, decided to finally switch over to my new computer. The HD's in this thing havn't decieded to re-kick in yet, so i'm missing about 1/2 TB of space ouch! So many, many virus's; spyware, computer just not working. All the sound that would come out was from the CD drive, spinning around. It's just been a PITA weekend.

Just a handful of thoughts here. Do you REALLY need a new computer, or will upgrading your current computer work out MUCH better? I know WoW (my current game of choice, all you guild wars people can stuff it ) was running way slow, way laggy, just overall bad, i started looking into a new system. then, my dad scored me a gig and a half of free ram; installed it, and NO problems running ANY of my games, anywhere. high res, high textures, high everything, no lag. And my computer is several years old; and wasn't top-of-the-line when i created it. Thankfully, my father is huge into computers (owns two sucessful programming companies) and was the first accounting business to utilize computers in Iowa. He understands the 'need' to go for bigger, better, faster, more high-tech computers, and he helps me out to get these -e- Oh, and it's been proven several times, that "violent" video games usually cause way less stress, and let people feel generally happier, not more mad and depressed.

It all depends on several things.If it's a town she's lived in all of her life, she should know what train tracks are being used, and should steer clear of them. theres many train tracks in this area - and the rail road companies have repeatedly assured us (the public) that they're no longer in use, and will never be used. However, they're still connected to 'major' train stations, and the possibility of them (still) being used is still great. If i were to get injured on one of these tracks, which "are no longer in use" - I'd sue in a heartbeat. It's not my fault that they mislead me and the rest of the public. However, it seems to me that this lady has lived most of her life in this town; knowing these rail roads. Many railroads you know exactly when they're coming - easily within 30 minutes every day. At least, 'round here you do know things like that.

Think about what you say before you say it. Look at the kill to death ratio of famas users. Its easily way higher than most players. The other ARs in FA are much more specialised, whereas the FAMAS can snipe from long distance and spray and pray better than the MGs. ... People cap and use the famas. Their score goes up. obviously it's the fact that the famas is being used. I don't think this is the case, at all. In the majority of the games i've played on TAC and elsewhere, someone will get a great K:D, and then switch to the famas. Or will already have had a good K:D and then switch to the famas. The people that is ee that use and keep using the famas are usually the better players of the game. They've also got good ratios using the m4; the m16; the m14; ak74, and other guns. I think that the majority of the people here are going "yeah! Well, i see a couple of people have really good K:D's with the famas at one point - obviously they've used it the entire time to get the K:D!!"

wait; wait. You're trying to tell me, because more people use the gun, it's obviously the best gun out there? What in the hell were you thinking? I disagree that the famas is the best gun in firearms. I don't think that theres any clear "best" gun in firearms.

Wait - you guys think they're getting "owned"; despite other games being 18+ as well; and recieving the correct authorization?

No; because the more servers/bandwidth that's required by the games, the more system adminstrators they're going to need to ensure that their server is up and running, the more tech people they're going to need to make sure everything is working; the more ISP's are going to need tech people, there won't be a 'lose of jobs, but there will be a transition from "clerks" to "techies".
