Heh shotty, Steam is only down because someone is DDoSing it. I think it's been down once or twice due to something other than that. And Steam being DDoS'd was a little under a month ago, now that i look when that article was posted...

You think this is the first time steam has been under DDoS attacks? I've seen steam go down a number of times, it's never been all that cool for any of them.Btw, your sig is waaaaaaaaaay too friggin' big. Make it smaller :/

When i feel the need to watch TV; I watch whatever good is on. So, at 4:00; i'm watching fox. At 7; depending on the day, i'm watching something else. 99% of the time, the TV's on, the cable's off; and i can see a nice little glow from my "Video 1" set-up.

I just got done reading the Sandtiger/Del series; fairly good IMO if you're into fantasy.

When turning them off; if you have XP pro, use the "end process tree" and it'll get ride of all programs associated with it..

LooooooooooooL Ok how about server crashing at map change How about the countless errors u get if u dont restart the server atleast 2wice a day. Errors that wherent there durring won. WON was really established and the bugs where fixable with off the market "unoficial" patches and tips/tricks. Please dont tell me u dont get those cuz even the armory does. Also have u ever tried too install it on Linux. It was imposible untill around December when they finally got out a patch. Its unnaceptable Countless errors if we don't restart the server twice a day? I havn't yet had to restart our server due to any kind of error. WON was established - and had just as many bugs, the only difference was that the bugs were much more severe to servers, and took months instead of days to fix. And don't just compare "Firearms" and steam; because this is about steam. not FA. The server crashes are a firearms bug - my FA Won server crashes the same way. And yes, i have attempted to install it on linux. I'm one of the server goons for a linux gaming server company; I know exactly what's going on there. It's not any more unacceptable than other things in life; Firearms has just as many/worse bugs than STEAM does, yet you're still here, playing FA; not telling pepole "We should go back to 2.8! That was the good RC! Things were more stable then!" ect Also, many of the STEAM bugs are fixable "with off the marker "unoffical" patches and tips/tricks." just to let you know When did you use the WON system? I was talking to people that were using the WON online system when HL first came on the market; and they told me that the bugs were just the same as they are now; I don't know how much truth this has; but they've never lied to me in the past. And just because you didn't know about the "bugs", doesn't mean they didn't "exist". You can also "close" the "stupid program" that easts 40MB ram when it sits there; and tell it never to update anything so it won't install 700MB onto your HD. And i'd disagree that windows sucks because it has "so many bugs." In my experiences, Windows is a fairly good program, that has a few security holes in it. Bugs? Not many of those. I don't recall having a honost-to-god windows bug since windows 95. And that was fixed very shortly after i got '95. And most people "hate windows", not because of the bugs windows causes; but because of the idea behind windows. Closed sourcing; what you don't know can't harm you; ect.

After watching it in slow motion, i'm willing to believe that it's probably a hoax. Mainly because, well, on the last time you view it, i did a frame-by-frame thing with ATI's default player. And during that frame-by-frame thing, you see the plane slowly go towards the right, you see it pause-like, and then while it's paused the guy starts to move the camera to the far right and up, and it's already there. The distance needed to go up, it could've easily done that in a toy plane. What just gets me is the near-stopping ness of it all.

When PS2's came out, i went out and sold a PS2 box for a little over 700 dollars. Clearly said "box" in the description, too. People are stupid.

I'd consider myself a "fa" player, because i'll never; ever leave this game. I may go inactive for awhile, but i'll never quit. So, because of this, i'm a firearms player. I don't play regularly - I find out i start hating the game; the game i very much so like the rest of the time.
