You're assuming the said people can even see your notices or questions. I know when i play on most servers, i don't put hud_saytext to 0 so i don't have to look at alot of spam and most times can concentrate soley on the game play. What you guys should do, is if you want to kick AFk players, is get an AFK admin-mod based script that automatically kicks players who are AFK more than X minutes, where X could be 5, 10; whatever you want. That'd really be the most fair way to do it.

I disagree. If you don't kill somebody or die in 10 minutes in Firearms, you're not actively playing the game and need to make room for somebody who will.Alright, so it's durandal, and the enemy rushes the sewer lets say, 3 times. They cap each time. You just joined the server, and go down there, thinking people will show up. People never do, and you just stay there protecting it. You're actively playing the game - You're protecting the base - but havn't seen anyone to frag/die because of yet.

I don't think this is fair - you should ask them if they're also around. On large maps while sniping it can be fairly easy to go by 10 minutes without anyone seeing where you are at , or seeing anyone. I know it's happend to me a few times.

Nope. You could go through your registry if you need to, assuming that it's still in your registry. PM me if you want to know how, or if you need a cd key to play basic HL (you can't play any valve based mods; the cd keys i'd give you all don't work under VAC and only in WON.)

I can see why Mac wouldn't want to hear that all the time. He hears it at work and what-not. When i came home from construction crew, i wouldn't curse at all - because i just got done cursing, for 12 or 13 hours. However, it is my opinion that the majority of children that play online games at the age of 12/13, playing a Mature game, playing a game where your sole object is to kill the other players, is a bit of a..mixed signal. It's like saying HEY! VIOLENCE IS AN ACCEPTABLE ANSWER, BUT SAYING GOD DAMMIT ISN'T! DON'T CURSE! To me, it just doesn't make any sense. Also, by the time the majority of the people i know were 11-13, we already knew all the curse words. It really doesn't matter IMO, they're not going to learn it any faster/slower. Also, in my experience, having a language filter didn't particularly reduce flame wars, they just reduced flamewars that only used two words, one beginning with the letter F, and the other ending in the letter U. I just think it's odd. I know that's how you guys do your thing; and that's fine with me, i just think it's really, really odd.

I've got the server, a few hiliarious people (who would probably be willing to help out) a modler, and probably bandwidth if you guys could use some. Also, if you wanted Blue vs Blue, mp_friendlyfire 2 would work just fine. You'll never, EVER have to be kicked from the server for Tking. I just couldn't meet with you guys on ventrilo; I've got the old illlegal version :roll:

I so rarely see cops here, i don't think twice about going 2x the speed limit, 90% of the cops i see here are at my school, where they're sitting down and talking with the drug dealers and the cocaine freaks. Doesn't make me feel exactly safe.
