As an MMORPG I think this'll be neat. My toon's only level 4 and I just got in the newbie zone, but I think it'll be fun. I'm hoping I can spec into being a medic. I think arena PvP, CTF and stuff will have a neat feel to it.

WPA as in your wireless network key? That wouldn't affect the security of your online transactions. Also, as I understand things, the server certificate dictates the encryption parameters used for SSL. So you wouldn't have control over what gets used unless you explicitly told your browser not to accept certificates under a certain security level.

For the record, I use Vista daily. And it annoys the crap out of me, daily. I want to throw things when I see windows pop up that have columns that can't be resized, no previous buttons on wizards, and it takes 12 seconds to move a 1k file between directories. At least once a day, I feel like throwing something at my screen.

Vista's not more intuitive than a Mac. Just because it's backwards from what you're (we're) used to, doesn't make it any less usable or correct.

I've had nasty luck with vista for software dev and gaming work. But I'm holding out some hope SP1 will come out soon. Until then, Ubuntu for me.

I tried 1-to-1 for a while. It lasted about 2 weeks, and I was really, really sore. I actually made a committment to stop playing WoW a few (ok, 2) weeks ago. It's calling me back pretty hard this weekend though. I guess I just haven't learned how to manage my boredom well enough--that game took away all boredom. Unfortunately it took over every other free second of my life as well.

oh and if you roll horde on Firetree we can have an epic SRT vs. TAC PvP battle. LOL! Yeah, there's always that...

WoW isn't a bad choice. In some ways, it's an odd progression from an FPS game, but having a large pool of players you know is pretty neat, and it's super easy to learn and have to fun playing.
