LOL. I know. But if one wants to play FA with live decent sized teams, atleast it can be done there. I accepted the challenge and had fun seeing what I could do within their "ideals" without complaint. You know, follow rules then gradually try this and that and see who if anyone minds. :o Just have to maintain repsect if you want to be able to return. :o

i tried them again last night for hr or 2. no probs that time. cool new map i don't remember ever seeing. warlock was around but no prob. i used med armor but made up for that by buying grenades and clays with my ak47. i did a lot of short radio recons on enemy whereabouts and numbers. no one complained. was fun. no audio clips or personal sprays used. don't wanna "push" too much.

Cool. I wonder if I could do that with an ultralight ?

Sorry Brian, it isn't "doing it" for me today. As to the basebll bat, It worked for me hitting you with it. lol. My fave laugh was when Brian had to offer samples of a meatlog in a mall. When he said "would you like to sample my meat log", he got decked, lol.

You can, if you can convince our friend to let us more then just hold that unloaded Sterling. Would have to be at gun club. i dunno if non-members are allowed in.

I voted for you. so far you're 6th of 15 bands. it shows bars but not actual vote counts so can't tell how many you need for 1st place ?

ya, good work, most that know me know I believe it's the amount of laughter that rates anything or player. you had lots their, i thought. why is it i laugh the hardest when i see a top player getting blown away ? lol

Who wants to challenge them to a match, in OUR server?

Okay. I stand corrected, actually sit corrected. A week later i tried again their server tonight. this time was not good in yis server tonight becasue of YIS admin member Warlock. After he dropped to spectator only it was fun. the admin seemed to be trying to be reasonable as he explained on and on forever how they actually change back and forth from both teams hearing voice to team only hearing so admin can hear voice from both sides, that you'll see onscreen as i did, if it changes. it will show "all talk is enabled" or "all talk is disabled". well, this means you can't use fa team voice for recon since other side hears my suggestions on where they are. That's very WRONG. But i felt not my free user place to question this admin so kept saying ok i'll try to obey. hmmmm. also i think he was trying to get me to understand he prefers good players don't do too good to keep it somewhat fun for the not so good players, i guess. i always said yes sir, sorry, i'll use less armor, weaker gun and defend instead of attack. warlock repsonded with another 10 minute explanation on headphones of why he didn't think i should have more then med armor as i was too good. i said sorry, just trying to help our team by holding/advancing frontlines and advising of enemy numbers and where. he responded that's good but your 32 kills and 14 deaths means something wrong here. i was confused as i was leading recon and holding frontlines. anyway, i just tried to keep agreeing with him so he would not kick me. i was having laughs none the less, with the game, not him, one way or another ;-) i had lot of fun their after warlock went spectator. teams were small, 4 each side, 2 YIS other side. but without distraction of admin constantly suggesting this or that which i tried to honor as his right of command, i was able to enjoy the game as it is meant to be by short team voice recons as to where enemy and where they should go ... made for challenging fun match... was fun without him intervering. in other words, often, it's team-only voice recon that makes for more organized and fun match for me. so the rest of you be advised, depends whose online their server and still it's their rules, their server, so don't argue. if you not agree say so and leave quietly respectfully ;-) be "careful" if [YIS]Warlock[Delta] is around ;-)

some older games do better with older hardware drivers and older windows or windows updates. my guess on the drivers i've experimented with lots in past , is, functionality was put in which is not supported by the old game, so works better sometimes with older drivers from just after that time, but possibly can be worked around by disabling or changing video/sound driver software settings for less quality and most performance. as to windows, a question of compatibility which a lot of trial and error was able to resolve by playing with shortcut to exe memory usage settings. such as easier to try set for win98 mode. more complicated measures needed for "Top Gun" were specifying types of memory use allowed and exactly how much. Winxp had most on auto. I had to say no to some and yes to others, but still had to play with how much set to use i guess because the game needed atleast so much ems or xms but too high no work and too low no work. A lot of time playing with those settings to find what works.

Good question. Does anyone know why U.S and Canada Thanksgiving days are different ? All I remember is it celebrates when first (English?) settlements on east coast near (New York?) invited Native Americans (First Native Indians) to share in food and games.

Correct me if wrong, but i heard from someone that with bf2:spec ops add on installed, you can play regular bf2 and still have access to additional weapons only provided from spec addon ? if true, a dasterdly attempt in my opinion to favor in game those that have it and induce those that don't have it to get it.

I've heard/read warnings in past that their server has had overly restricting rules and admins, causing some people to have their steam id's banned from playing anywhere through steam, if they were "too good" or maybe more like didn't honor server rules at the time. I dunno about those situations. But I feel I should give credit were credit is due. I played there wee morning hrs monday. I used tac col hogan name. someone on my team must have remembered my occaisional tac fa use of audio clip "you can't touch this" as he said on mic the same. i hadn't used it yet as i wasn't sure it was okay. i figured since it mentioned, if i kept it 2-3 seconds and not too often, maybe okay. i did. no complaints. it was a fun laugh generating hr or 2 while i was there. Just read rules before joning game and keep eye out for requests from possible admin on other team.

we work 4pm-12:30am. so play time is 1am-6am. sleep 8 hrs til 2pm.
