I dig it, Gator. Very good work on the text. It matches perfectly. I give the text a 11 out of 10. Also, yes, I think the Steam Community should remain public because it wouldn't exactly be a "community" if we removed that and made it invite only. Think of it like a... real-time forum! ;] P.S. People need to get in the chat room more often! D:
  4. There looks to be a black bar on the left that looks to be ~5-10 px; crop that out. There's also a bar on the bottom (approx 3 px); remove it. Then you know the drill. Stroke it. I'd suggest a 2-3px white overlay stroke, then a 1-2px black overlay stroke. Or you could just stick to the white overlay. Whichever floats your boat. Move your text further away from the render by putting it in the upper-left corner; keep its size. You have the size just about perfect. Make the "Halo3" colour a little less neon. Make it a dull orange. Then you're set. Excellent sig, buddy. I love that swirl in front of (to the left of) Master Chief's helmet.
  5. The C4 jumping and teabagging had me lol'ing.
  6. Mr. Calhoun is going to be getting a chunk of his paycheck taken away!~ Haha! Nah, I'm kidding. I think he's getting off lucky with just a "remedial driving class".
  7. Yeah, quit WoW as soon as possible. I'm not just saying that either. I mean it. For your own sake, quit that game quickly. The games TAC is currently playing are... well... pretty much what you said: BF2142 and BF2(:SF). I think aside from that, some of the community is waiting for COD4 and Crysis. =)
  8. HAHA! Wow... I hope the truck isn't in too bad shape. They're pretty expensive.
  9. Aww. Okay. I won't bother to give a review then. ^^ Good luck finding a phone, though!
  10. Well, I just got a Sony Ericsson Z310 (which is supposedly new to the market?). It's currently charging up. What I will tell you already, without even being able to fiddle around with anything, is that it's very compact and has killer keypad illumination alongside an epic external display. Anything more than that I'll have to tell you tomorrow, when it's charged up. PS/EDIT: I use AT&T. I don't know if that matters. ;] EDIT2: Confirmed as a Z310a.
  11. This is what I'm most curious about. When was the last time you heard of a meteorite hitting somewhere and people get sick as a result? I've certainly never heard of it. I'm also rather curious about just what gases the meteorite is letting off and why water is boiling near the 'crash site'. It's not deep enough to hit underground water reservoirs, I don't think. Anyway, just keep lookin' around the interwebs, guys and girls, and see what the news tells us about this. ^^
  12. Also another link talking about the same crash; pretty much the same information contained within: http://www.allheadlinenews.com/articles/7008556054
  13. Like something out of a sci-fi flick, a village in Peru has some of its residents falling ill after a meteorite crashed nearby. I thought it was a pretty cool story! LIMA (AFP) - Villagers in southern Peru were struck by a mysterious illness after a meteorite made a fiery crash to Earth in their area, regional authorities said Monday. ADVERTISEMENT Around midday Saturday, villagers were startled by an explosion and a fireball that many were convinced was an airplane crashing near their remote village, located in the high Andes department of Puno in the Desaguadero region, near the border with Bolivia. Residents complained of headaches and vomiting brought on by a "strange odor," local health department official Jorge Lopez told Peruvian radio RPP. Seven policemen who went to check on the reports also became ill and had to be given oxygen before being hospitalized, Lopez said. Rescue teams and experts were dispatched to the scene, where the meteorite left a 100-foot-wide (30-meter-wide) and 20-foot-deep (six-meter-deep) crater, said local official Marco Limache. "Boiling water started coming out of the crater and particles of rock and cinders were found nearby. Residents are very concerned," he said. http://news.yahoo.com/s/afp/20070918/sc_afp/peruhealthoffbeat

If you do play, don't forget to give some tickets to charity. I have a feeling that's more what this site is actually about. ^^
  15. The text, mate, makes or breaks a signature. It does have to stand out. It does have to look nice. I once heard someone say, "Either make the text look good or don't put it in the sig at all." But the rule of thumb there is, 80% of signatures need some sort of text. A sig has to be something REALLY special to not have text. Focal points are not what a signature is about (although they can make or break a sig too), and they are especially not a reason to half-ass another part of the sig. Just thought I'd throw my two cents in there before I told you that the sig, other than the text (which is an easy fix), looks good.
  16. I already uploaded a few of these to the gallery. Heh... =/ EDIT for grammar -- I HAD already uploaded them, or thought I did. I think Suburban Fantasy is from there. I've had their walls for a few months now. I figured everyone knew about the site. D:
  17. Doubtful, really.

  23. ^The sig would be fine as-is if the text was just smaller. It's got plenty going on in it so that the render doesn't need to be centered.

  25. Looks nice. Only thing I would suggest to make the sig even more minimalist is to shrink your text (Mencar) further and make it the orange-y colour on the soldier's shoulder. I think then you'd be set. You can get that colour by using the eyedrop tool. (BTW, Taco is absolutely right. Quotes in sigs definitely do overcrowd GENERALLY. There are times when they CAN look great, but as a rule of thumb, keep them out.) e1.// Grammar issues.
