Looks nice. Only thing I would suggest to make the sig even more minimalist is to shrink your text (Mencar) further and make it the orange-y colour on the soldier's shoulder. I think then you'd be set. You can get that colour by using the eyedrop tool. (BTW, Taco is absolutely right. Quotes in sigs definitely do overcrowd GENERALLY. There are times when they CAN look great, but as a rule of thumb, keep them out.) e1.// Grammar issues.

Filters, Smudge tool, and liquefy will get the "blury stuff" that you're looking for. Not necessarily all of them combined, but experiment with them and you'll figure out which it is you want.

Yeah, it seems like the general consensus is to definitely hold back on Vista for a while. If you want your compy to LOOK like Vista (and who doesn't? It's beautiful), try Vista Inspirat. =]
