  1. I've seen one. No, I'm not kidding.
  2. Digital zoom can, on occasion, make something grainy or blurry. Just throwing that out there.
  3. Boy, that's somethin' else, ain't it?
  4. Am I the only one who thinks this looks crappy? =/
  5. Wow. That's actually a rather serious thing, when you look at the first example. Cursing his parents out and everything else. Oh dear! I think, though, it's not particularly that people are addicted to games themselves but rather the interaction they can get while in the game. That's pretty much the main reason I play[ed] World of Warcraft, because I can meet loads of really fun, intriguing people. It's like an immense, mobile and interactive chatroom, TBH. What I do think is that this is another way for society to label video games as a bad thing. I don't mean to hit a nerve here, and I particularly don't mean to be offensive, but where do people always go with teen crime? "Oh, he played Grand Theft Auto." They do it a lot with school shootings. This is just another way to shun video games and make them a bad guy, IMHO. Interestingly enough, though -- and, yes, I'm going to point a finger here -- with World of Warcraft, everyone who I know that has ever quit that game seems changed, down even to their personality. All my buddies recently have stopped playing and they all have said to me, in some way, that "Life is better." I wholly believe that if people are going to look at any game, World of Warcra[ck]ft should be the one to look at. (As a hypochondriac, though, I wonder if I may or may not be addicted. >.>; )
  6. See, well, here's the thing: I suck at RTSes. I mean... You know the noob that seriously sucks so hard you just want to uppercut him into oblivion? That's me. I played CoH basically to see if it would be any different. It wasn't. The AI beat me every single time. Why? Because I wasn't used to the whole, "Rush out there to get and hold a zone." I can actually win against people if I have teammates who'll cover me while I turtle my troops up. I'm a defense whore, TBPH. Anyway, I just saw on last night's news that video game addiction is a serious psychological disorder and you can now get insurance to cover treatment. XDD!!!! (No... I'm serious...)
  7. You all make me feel like an abomination. ;_;
  8. Nah, the real reason is I live so far from a city without the means to get TO a city that I really have little else TO do. If I wasn't gaming, I'd be watching TV or something. Frankly, since I've begun my "Hardcore" gaming/diet routine, I've lost approximately 20 pounds. ^^; But really... I see gaming as the lesser of two evils when it comes to this or partying (which is the only thing the kids out here do). We're talking underage drinking, smoking, et cetera... without designated drivers 75% of the time. I'm just too good a fella to participate in such blatantly stupid and illegal things. Besides, I melt phace. I mean.. c'mon..... I'm Biscuit. ^_~;
  9. ?.? Maybe I just like gaming...?
  10. 8760 hours in a year. 3794 hours spent with XFire on while playing a game. 4966 hours left until I reach one year spent in front of this computer pwning noobs.
  11. World of Warcraft - 2337 hours Counter-Strike: Source - 595 hours Battlefield 2 - 424 hours America's Army: Special Forces - 244 hours ArmA - 67 hours Lineage II - 57 hours Oblivion - 45 hours Half-Life 2 - 9 hours Half-Life 2 Garry's Mod - 6 hours Counter-Strike 1.6 - 4 hours Source SDK Base (Zombie Master) - 2 hours Half-Life 2: Deathmatch - 2 hours Hidden: Source - 1 hour Company of Heroes Single Player Demo - 1 hour lordfuzzywig has been a participant since 2006-11-22 (7 months ago), and in that time has typed 11,734,300 keys, clicked 2,486,400 times and moved his or her mouse for 160.7 miles. Now none of you have to feel bad about your playtimes. =]

    Grats Undernoob. =]
  13. ^Agree with Phrogg here. "Don't make me go 500 metres away with my M24 and compensate for bullet drop right above your head, noob! I'm a freakin' Master Sergeant! You better start respectin'! >:|"

    Thank you! I double-checked, as well, and the name on both screenies is the same -- (=A=) 11bravo10. So, this isn't like a main and alt account getting promoted, it's the same person being promoted to the same rank twice. It's paradoxical. I love it. I think the world might implode. If you do have an explanation for this, Bravo, I'm curious. ^^; Congratulations regardless though.

    Wait, I'm confused. One picture shows you as 1SGT in, like, Gulf of Oman or something, but the other is in Wake Island 2k7. How is that possible? o.o
  16. Rawr. Happy belated Fathers' Day. =] <3
  17. This is a totally rad question, and the rule I always use is this (and it's probably because of ArmA) -- If you don't know, don't shoot. Now, I play Veteran Mode in ArmA (which means basically there are no fancy map things to help you out, there is no IFF, there are no XHairs, all that), so this is a necessity. Always check your shot. I don't know about 2142, 'cause I don't play, but generally there's a good bit of discrepancy between players' suits. ^^;
  18. Aww, sorry to hear about your brother. !!
  19. DON! Dude. You look super-serious in that picture, and it's in an awesome way. Look at all those CDs too! I envy you. *<3s music* ._.; P.S. I don't know why, but even though your name is DjDon, I wouldn't have thought you were really a DJ (It's 1337 that you are)! Probably a side-effect of too many dilettantes going around with DJ in their name. ^^
  20. Cookie cutter. =( EDIT: HOORAH! I broke the 500 post mark! /dance
  21. Pretty music, IMHO. ^^;
  22. Mr. Biscuit is reminded of Jairyn and Sneaky's Ventrilo rendition... ^____^
  23. http://www.atari.com/us/games/armed_assault/dvd_rom Play the demo before anything, though. It's not a game everyone will enjoy. EDIT: For those that -do- play, all versions are now unified thanks to 1.08! Get it ASAP! Tons and tons of changes. =)
  24. Yessir. ArmA: Combat Operations, as it is called here in the US of A.
  25. ArmA > all TBH. Bullet drop, speed, direction, ricochet, penetration... mm, it's hawt stuff. Sniping there is hard and realistic enough to pass as "real" sniping, but fun enough to pass as arcade sniping. I can't tell you how many times I've sat in some hills 1000+ metres off the outskirts of a city and hunkered down in some bushes with an M107 and just picked guys off wandering around; they typically say, "Where are you? I can't see you..." That's the best part. Knowing they never saw it coming.
