  1. Just grunge up the armory logo a bit. The brick wall it's on is very dilapidated; therefore, the logo should catch some of that wear-and-tear too. The middle of the logo and some of the edges (on the right and on the bottom, just at a quick glance) are just too pristine to be believable.
  2. I was, dewd! Srsly. I'm not THAT noob. But I was clicking -- and when I say clicking, I mean spamming the goop outta me ol' mousie -- and I swear to you, it just wasn't registerin'. I'll maybe screen record it. XD
  3. The click test, I was totally stoked about. But I was clicking -- I guess -- so fast that it wasn't registering. My Whatpulse registered around 60 clicks within a few seconds, but the site only registered ten. I was like, "" The reflex test -- on my first try -- was .219 seconds.

    Ehh... Good at typing? ?? I dunno if I'd be proud of posting that many messages in a day, either. <.<,
  6. I don't mean to bash on the kids in Still Pending, but that song was painfully amateur. They're good'n'all, but I just found them to be a bit... too plain. Too cliche'. Maybe it was the lack of a rhythm guitar or something? On another note: TSO FTW.
  7. ^ The truck would have barely been moving when it connected with the wheelchair -- The report says that it had just started from a complete stop. Let's assume that, moving even just 20 feet (I'd say that's being generous), that the semi was going 10 miles an hour (again, I think that's being REALLY generous), it'd be a good thump (and it wouldn't be like a semi hitting a PERSON here; the wheelchair would act a lot like a person running into a shopping cart, if you ask me), but after it hooked, I don't see any reason why the wheelchair wouldn't be able to naturally roll on a straight road at the speeds the truck was. From the 911 calls, I'm gathering the collision occurred when the truck was going westbound. I don't think it ever stopped going westbound. Hence, a straight road. (Oh, and Jen from the 911 calls: enhance your calm! XD!!!) -- Worst part, IMO, would be the bugs he got slapped in the face with. =)
  8. Well, you can save it (I made sure it's .gif), and then upload it through your User CP. Then type [sIGPIC ] [/ SIGPIC] minus the spaces in your sig box. EDIT: After I looked at it again, I decided I'm definitely going to be touching it up, but I'll just PM you any updates on it. I'm gonna be fixing the barrel (trying to), and adding a border. So... you're welcome to use this for now, but expected revisions.
  9. Well, here's something I threw together -- quite literally -- last night. It was just something I quickly tossed on canvas. I mimicked the style from my sig, but it's definitely not an exact copy by any means. Anyway, it's not AT, and it doesn't have a chopper in it... but it -is- BF2. If you don't like it, lemme know, I'll go back to square one with a different render. =) EDIT: Yeah, I realize the barrel of the SVD is kind of icky. There wasn't too much I could do about that. 10. (/cheer double post) Well, Rebel, I tried a few times to make a sig like you requested, but all of them turned out perfectly terrible. I'm honestly too embarrassed to even post them. But my offer still remains, if you can find me a stock with, like, a soldier in the foreground or something, I'd gladly give you something similar - in ways - to what I have currently (as my sig), just busier (more busy?) in the background and not so... abstract. One should be able to recognize, in areas, what the background was prior to manip. Sorry buddy; I tried a good portion of the night. =[
  11. I would greatly prefer working with the stock so it doesn't look artificial.
  12. Just want to make this clear -- you want an AT soldier (presumably USMC) to have his HEAT prepared for the MEC chopper? Here's how I'm seeing the sig laid out currently: 400x100 ----------------------------------- |....................................chopper| |...............................................| |...............................................| |AT soldier....................Your name| ----------------------------------- In the middle, I plan to toss a C4D in there or something to keep the eye busy as it trails between the soldier and the chopper. Is this satisfactory? Also, what colours were you thinking? Ochre? Green? Blue? EDIT: Here's your warning - I've only done sigs thus far with a single focus (one render), so I can't guarantee this will turn out well, but I'm going to try anyway. =] EDIT II: It's really hard to find any pictures of AT soldiers with their AT4s out aiming anywhere; the closest thing to an AT soldier I found that could be even considered would be a soldier with an M203 pointed at about a 30' angle upward. However, I did see a picture in the Gallery of an MEC soldier in a Stinger seat and that would work, but... I think you see the trouble there. If you can find a picture that you think would work, please post a link and I will begin to work immediately. (Note: I cannot guarantee it will be finished tonight; as I lead a guild in WoW, I am preparing for large-scale political relations with other guilds, so I'll have my hands tied periodically. I promise to have this complete by the end of the weekend though, as long as the two pictures you find suitable are supplied. ^^)
  13. What particular aspect of BF2 are you looking for? Infantry, air, what branch? If you can find a good render (or even a stock as long as the focal point [the infantry or vehicle] is in the foreground), I'll whip something up lickety-split today and see how ya like it. I can't say it'll be super-artsy-fartsy, but it'll be decent..... I hope. I've got a couple things in mind I'd like to do with a few infantry pics. So, link me to one or two and I'll get to work! =)
  14. Very cool; radical find, SS6. =)
  15. Hah, okay then. If it's not noticeable, I'll use the "clean" version, just because... well... it's clean. Squeaky clean, like a rubber ducky in a bubble bath. ...or something. EDIT: Thanks.
  16. Congrats! =)
  17. 'kay. Do that. You didn't answer my question though... Rather, you didn't say if it looked better touched up or not. :[
  18. Actually a rather important bump/post here -- I touched up the render, on her hand and her shoulder/neck there was a bit of bleed from the render/smudge/colour filters. So I cleaned that up, tell me if it looks better or not. 19. Awww.. Sorry to hear that tuby. =(
  20. Well, they've been saying this for a while now -- If you search under the HL2Mods forum, I think I made a thread or two. It was "supposed" to be released late last year, then early this year, then two months ago, then one month ago. Checking the forums every day for this mod was, to say the least, disheartening. SOOOOO many flames and QQs. The entire community was upset when Jeremy said, "Summer 2007." Especially after saying, "April." So I checked the ins forums, totally expecting the same thing I get every other day, and I get this little gem. Of course, I come here to tell YOU guys... but it looks like you beat me. I'm totally stoked about this mod. Like Sneaky, I've been waiting for about a year. ^^;;
  21. Needs some light (brightness). Currently, it's much too dark IMO. Also, I'd duplicate layer, smudge the background around the silhouette, duplicate non-smudged layer, bring it to top, drop opacity of non-smudged layer, things like that. If you want to have the focus being a sniper near (or silhouetted by) an explosion, get a stock of an explosion, toss that over all other layers, scale, erase around the silhouette, smudge and/or blur it. Right now, it's just the stock lookin' a bit darker with a faint mosaic IMHO. =]
  22. After my IE got hijacked and Firefox (even before removing the hijack) wasn't, I started using Firefox. The only time I use IE is when MSN Messenger tosses me there to check my mail.
  23. You actually hit the nail on the head, figuratively speaking there Taco! While my sigs aren't near as pretty, nor as complicated as yours, I utilized both of the methods you described here! In the Castlevania sig, I used a stock of a city; I believe it was a skyline at night, actually. In the Ichigo sig (Lord Fuzzywig sig), I started with a gradient, then smudged, then added a bunch of steps here, then tossed on a render, erased, and added some light. I was really blessed with that sig because the render decided to cooperate a little more than I was used to (I'd say it's because the render was pure white/black to begin with), so uniformity wasn't too difficult. Colours certainly are not my forte', so bringing a sig "together" is just... whoo! It's tough for me. I feel like when I use hue/saturation that I'm blending -too- much. Anyway, Taco, I'm really fond of your work, so perhaps we can discuss creation methods sometime. ^^;
  24. HAHA! That screenshot is excellent.
  25. Thank you, weihe!
