I don't get it... I have a Nvidia 6800, 1 GB RAM, and some dinky processor and I run INS on all high, resolution 1024x768 -- (except AA is, like, 4x) -- without a hitch except on Ramadi and a few areas in Baghdad. Why is everyone having so many FPS issues? O.o;; My computer is far from being anywhere near the best.

I noticed today it wasn't the client side that was crashing as often, but rather the servers. In just a little on hour play-period, I had 3 (it may have been 4) of the servers I played on crash. BIG turn-off. =[ Biscuit prays that server stability will be increased with the next patch.

You can just bring the render over and then drop opacity or maybe overlay? I dunno. Suggestions complete! Good work so far!

If you still have the .PSD and a layer with the render on it, just duplicate it. If that layer has anything else on it, just erase everything but the render. :]

I'm-a let you in on a little secret, TAC. They have a deal with Fileplanet that says on their main page (http://insmod.net) they can only link to FP for 3-5 hours. BUT! They can link in the forums to other mirrors and torrents and other things like that. SO! While everyone else is waiting in line, if you're part of the forum community, you get in early. Pretty sweet, huh? I was part of the 150+ person rant-fest that was going on in that TS you joined, sharp. Lemme tell you, everyone was (and still kind of is) pissed. ------------------- Just an update though. 4AM PST is when FP is supposed to get their files. In other words, release = 0400 PST, 0700 EST, 1200 GMT. This is straight from Jeremy's mouth and you won't read it anywhere on the forums.

I've been basically on the back of the devs here, I'm in TS with them, and as per 8:00 CST, straight from the mouth of ET -- ETA 2 hours, but I'll still let you know when it's out. This mod's dev team is utter crap with public relations, so... =/

Looks like the equivalent of a prone spam or dolphin dive. You're having an epic rifle firefight, then you drop to the ground instantly with a sidearm aimed already in the direction of the bad guy and he thinks you're dead. Hold X for Coward's Way Out.
