Actually, the M82's recoil is not as bad as you think. It is comparible to shooting deer slugs through a pumpaction shotgun. The reason most people think it has massive recoil is simply because the huge round.It's semiautomatic action takes alot of the felt recoil and uses it to operate the action.However, most people still can't shoot it accurately and fast like they do in FA.There are videos of the gun in action, just search and you will see...

There are still a good amount of FA servers. Start of FA through the games menu and join games that way. It shows only FA servers and joins the selected server faster.

The easiest way to edit crosshairs is to first convert FA to use the functional crosshair that comes with 2.8. go into your sprites/crosshairs/functional folder and copy every file and paste them in the main sprites folder. Now edit the functional crosshair since it is already set up to replace all the weapons. A good site to get editing programs is http://www.ticclan.com/tutorials/crosshairs-sprites.html It has a crosshair pack that contains the required programs and info on how to edit crosshairs.

Ok, i missed the superbowl because i had to work but I did find myself in a hillarious situation.I'm stockin a shelf at work and some old guy walks up behind me. TY Mac.I just downloaded some x-hair makers, viewers, etc.must around for a while and made some that are ok. For some reason i can't get the one i like to have a red dot in the middle. When I view it ingame the spot where the reddot should be is transparent and the main backround is not.gotta try out the new one you sent me Mac.Thanks again,PUNISHER

It's been my experience that most demo's don't run well. Before the final or soon after the code seems to be gutted or made better some how.Wow, i just looked up some screen shots for that game. There's detail there that's than HL2

played on some sever today where there was 15 people usin either uzi or famas.I was gettin raped so i pulled out the g36 and went to town on them. Nothin like gettin accused of hacking from an entire team : )

yes, FA was dying before Steam but it was still a strong mod.I couldn't tell you how many posts i saw saying: Screw this steam sucks, blah blah, blah, i'm done with FA, blah blah blah.

I've been in to FA since 2.4 A friend of mine told me about the game. He's long since quit the mod like many other FA players.I joined up with TA not too long after it was started. At that time there was at least 150 FA servers and maybe 50 of them had players in them at a time.I'm not sure what the count is for FA servers now but it's less than 20 and maybe 5 are full at any given time.Ultimately it was steam that killed FA. Before steam you had to wait to get into the popular servers. Now they are only packed full on some weekends. TA has lost lost some great players like Unforgiven , Commando, and many others.Honestly, I'm surprised TA is still around. I like the fact that we are trying new games but it's obvious FA is gettin phased out.Hmm, just stinks the game is goin down. I haven't found a better one yet although HL2 looks promising. There are good games like AA and DC but they don'y have the ultra-fast gameplay of FA.I hope an HL2 mod springs up that has the characteristics of FA. But even then it wouldn't be ready for another year or two.Has anyone heard any more about the FA team and there plans for an HL2 mod?peace out,PUNISHER

Very interesting. I remember the first day back to school after 9/11. I brought up the fact that the building should not have fallen so perfectly but I never thought to much into it. Even well thought out plans to impolde buildings go wrong. This building was taken down so fast and perfectly that most imploding companies are probably jealous.I don't know, maybe it happened by chance, but it seems pretty strange after reading the facts you posted.PUNISHER
