SYSTEM SPECS1GHz AMD athalon512 mb ramgeforce FX 5200 128I am having big problems with my fps, all the ingame setings are lowered and fps_max and fps_modem are at 100. Vertical sinc is turned off and my monitor is set for performance. I minimize steam and then close it while playing. Even after all these steps I average about 30 fps compared to my regular 80-100Is there anything i left out...Any help would be much appreciatedThanks, PUNISHER

WOW, thats insane, WOW!I remember leaving my nintendo on a week straight and even more to beat that game.I'd hate to know the amount of hours he put in to doin that, hehe

this shouldn't be here but...When i connect to the armory i get a messafe saying error: cannot verift client ticket,cant connect to blah blah blah server 7?WTF does this stuff meanI can connect to other steam servers with no problems?

I followed your installation correctly and STEAM worked fine. Now it does't. I guess i'll just reinstall...take care all

I received an email from steam support team saying i cant play on steam because my HL cd key was already in use or registered or some BS like that. They expect me to buy another HL. I know it is easy to get a CD key but thats not the point...This is the 2nd strike for the whole steam+HL 1 more and im done because the game was fine before and even though it(STEAM) works perfect for some it DOES NOT work correctly for me.Jesus, I don't know why this bothers me so much but it does...-PUNISHER

I'm a lil disgusted with the whole FA and steam thing. I get about 30 fps on a computer capable of doin a helleofa lot more. I just dont understand the whole Steam thing...anyway have fun -PUNISHER

I played on several servers today and on three of them I encountered people shooting the remington extremely fast, like saiga fast. CD was optional on the server but they had it on. I don't know if this is en exploit or a new hack but it is pretty obvious when it is happening. Keep your heads up TA.-PUNISHER

I can not get steam to work on my computer. My friend has it installed on his and it works fine. He can not figure out what is wrong with my computer. My brother who knows alot about computer stuff can not figure it out either. I am 100% sure i follwed the installation correctly. We tried messing with bios, new drivers, and god knows what else. i read forums for solutions but they are things that i have already tried. I can play on WON servers without errors...Today i joined THE ARMORY but it soon crashed...and my comp freezes up, when i run scandisk i got a list of errors involving steam about 50 lines long.I have totally uninstalled HALFLIFE and all its components and then reinstalled it. I have freshly installed FA and STEAM as well. Nothing works... I think there might be an incompatibility issue somewhere because sometimes i got a C++ runtime error, the solutions i found to fix this said install new drivers and i did but...I really need some ideas on how to fix the problem any help would be much appreciated.Hope to be on The ARMORY soon!Thanks, PUNISHER

i installed steam successfully but it makes FA look like crap. What in the hell is the point of using something that makes the game look like it came out 5 years ago-PUNISHER

i wouldn't even call FA2.8mixed with steam a beta, more of an alpha. 2.8 alone ownz, but steam is not needed, i dont understand the benefits of using it...

When i try to join games I often get this message: "error tracker.ddl not loading" then FA freezes up and...I have reinstalled HL and reinstalled FA but it still happens?Can anyone fill me in and what to do?Thanks, -PUNISHER

Somehow, I got a virus deep in windows (somehow?i dont know how). Had to reformat and start over. Now my hard drive is screwed up. I can't install things : (Guess im goin' shopping...I think it should all be fixed by Sunday-PUNISHER

the only REAL advantage of using a rifle in FA is accuracy, smg's own all other categories.

I think-no nevermind, I know FA is the best game I have ever played but the damage numbers are slightly annoying to me.I know the damages of weapons are made to be balanced but its crazy when it takes three 5.56 rounds to kill someone-even to the head. Why not make helmets be effective only against pistol rounds. This would make the advantage of using a rifle much better from far distances and still allow pistol cal. weapons to be more effective up close becuase of the ROF. I am not bashin FA at all I just thing it needs help in the damage department.What do u guys hink, -PUNISHER

I have decided not to exploit anymore, i know u guys dont care but..it isnt wrong to exploit, i think exploits add a lil excitement to the game. Now when i see someone gettin mass kills i will sneek up behind them and gut them, then maby quarter them or sumthin.Many of the expolits that are in maps should be there intentionally, such as the ridge on Golan. One of the main things soldiers try to do in real life is get above their enemy. It is easier to aim down than it is to aim up because you can see the ground to help balance yourself-this is my opinion.Sorry to anyone I made man while explotin, its all for fun!
