Ok, this new C-D is broken at least after getting it installed and tying to play I get an error...System Modified Error 44 (or something like that, the number is the important thing here)I checked on the C-D forums and it seem other ppl have that problem too, so I hope they can fix it somehow until then I wont play with C-D sorry about that...[DIAL]Doc

Well Klink trust me your are a good player and Capping is part of the Maps, some ppl just always have something to complain about. I enjoy the challenge of capping too. It usually only works as a team effort. And that's when FA shines the best when ppl play as a team to pursue a goal.I have my own set of rant worth moments but often I just laught at the ppl who are going "gg burst" or "lame burst" etc. The fun thing is brust isn't broken since 2.9c and just because I headshot them with a burst dosen't mean the burst is broken? Also often these are guys running around with a FAMAS, and I go LOL you're a funny guy :PThe only thing actually that get's me really pissed is ppl running through my claymores even after I told them where or they are in easy visible places (for my team) but that's a different story :)Well Klink it's always a pleasure to play with (or against) you,[DIAL]Doc

Sais who?!? And who uses mainstream mice for gaming?!?!? Sorry I'm a Logitech user since my late Amiga500 days (after the original mouse died of horrible button abuse ) and never had an issue with any Logitech mouse. I held a few of the MS ones, they feel cheap and plasticy compared to my MX510. Also sorry I haven't posted more details on the MX510 since I assumed it's easy to find. It has 8 buttons what do you want more and all the nice Logitech driver options, like accleration and speed. And did I say it as a BLUE METAL finish!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! As for the wireless and rechargeing mice, the Logitech ones with the docking stations look nice (even if pricy). Sorry Pun, I would have to highly disagree with you here.This is pure and simple a criminal act, doesn't matterif the company had the game done a week ago or a month or more! :evil: I work (as said a few times before) in the gaming industryand unless you are a real big jerk I don't think anyone workinghere would ruin his work by ripping it. Most companies dohave quite nice bonuses for their employees if the game isa huge hit (which is almost a given for Halo2 and GTA:San Andreas)So if you'd leaked it you are kind of shooting your self in thefoot. Who would do that?As for example in the case of Halo2 leak it has been tracedback to the Manufacturing plant. So it seems that a workertheir just took one of the copies home and ripped it. These manufacturing plants companies are bound by contractsand stuff to guarantee they wont leak the product they are manufacturing. But having two big title games leaked withinsuch a short amount of time will probably warrant some changes.Submission process for Console Games in particular is a quitetedious process that can take a lot of time. PC Games don't go through quite that much trouble. But people expect the gamethey buy to work a 99% and be as bug free as possible.Way to often PC games seem to be rushed out of the doorjust to have to provide a patch a few day after that. Uhm, I'm sorry to destroy your dreams but (to my knowledge) X-Box2 will not be backwards compatible with X-Box. To me that seems the biggest drawback for the X-Box2. But X-Box2 has a totaly differend Hardware (IBM CPUs and ATI Gfx vs Intel CPU and NVIDIA Gfx) so that backwards compability dosen't seem a natural thing. They mighttry an emulation aproach but again haven't heard about any of that ^_^And to G All the stuff about X-Box2 so far are rumors nothing has been confirmed yetby Microsoft, so that announcment at CES will clear up all the rumors about the X-Box2 and will tell people (more or less) what it will be :)It's not about telling us 'Yes there is going to be an X-Box2 thank you for comming' [DIAL]Doc

One thing I wanted to add (to my original post but forgot) was the whole mod issue.Since these new games (HL2 or any BF series) offer so much more detail (in graphics and other things) making a mod for these games becomes a much bigger task. Which only few will manage to bring to an end. It start with all the graphic assets up to the coding, there is a lot of work that needs to be done :DJust look back at history, the team sizes that used to do mods (for QuakeII or HL) most of them are around 10 people. I don't think that amount of people will ever be able to do a mod for these new games. Not because I think the lack skill, but because the task is so much bigger.I work in the Game Industry and it usually takes 2-4+ years to make a game and a lot of money :PTeams range from 20 people to up to 200+ people, and don't forget they all work on it 5days a week 8hours a day (plus endless overtime ) so looking at these number you must admit that there will very likely be less and less mods for these newer games. Just look at how many mods are out (done not just work in progress) for recent FPS games like UT2004, Doom3, BF:V, FarCry (not sure you can mod that one?!)So I'm a bit skeptical when people go "yeah there will be tons of cool mods for that new game XYZ" but then again, maybe I'm wrong [DIAL]Doc
