When I game, I always overclock. I dont max it out but it is turned up. I am running a 7 yr old video card that is stock.

I was just messing around with this again. I did not change any setting but the window, full screen or Borderless setting. Full screen made my FPS jump up. Actually quite a lot. I am averaging 130 FPS now on metro. It was 110 FPS.

Second, line up your shots and pop off any enemy soldier you can (preferably without alerting them to your presence). The Scout is typically equipped with gadgets that assist in spotting enemy soldiers and vehicles on the landscape. Don’t just sit around trying to rack up long-distance sniper kills, though. Scout weapons include: Gewehr 98 (bolt-action rifle) SMLE Mk III (sniper) Russian 1895 (lever-action rifle) Scout gadgets: Flare Gun K Bullet PILOT In Battlefield 1 players have the ability to play as two classes they’ve never seen before. One is the Pilot. As you can probably guess – it’s a specialized class best-suited for players that wish to take to the skies and participate in dogfights for the majority of matches. There haven’t been any details released for the Pilot class just yet, but it’s probably safe to assume that it’ll be custom-tailored to be useful for aircraft. We’ll update this page with more details about this new class once EA / DICE have released official info for it. TANKER The other vehicle-specialized class that players will be able to use in BF1 is called Tanker. The name suggests that this class will be tailored to assist players that wish to roll around in tanks throughout matches. As with Pilot, there aren’t really any official details available for it just yet, but once they become available the full overview of the Tanker class will be posted right here. Driving a tank or flying a plane is only possible through the new Pilot and Tanker classes. You can only select these over the usual four, and DICE says your vehicle will act “as your primary weapon”.

The big, bulky and powerful Elite units you can play as in the Battlefield 1 beta. Battlefield 1 will introduce a new type Battle Pickup called Elite Classes. These guys have more health than any regular soldier. More importantly, they have unique abilities and dish out a tonne of damage. Three have been announced so far – the Flame Trooper, the Sentry, and the Tank Hunter – and all three are available in the Sinai Desert map, which is the open beta map. In the video in the top, Alex gives you a quick recap of what Elite Classes are, how you can use them, and of course, where to find them in the map. There’s footage of all there in there, and a few tips on how you can best utilise them, specifically when it comes to learning their weaknesses. If you miss them the first time, don’t worry, they will spawn again during the match at the usual spots.

As you might have noticed, most of the open beta weapons come with some variations such as Experimental, Artillery, Trench and so on. Reddit user R_MA has provided a description for some of these variations. Experimental = Weapons with special, “experimental” features. For example, MP18 Experimental is burst fire instead of Automatic. Artillery = Weapons that are scoped, IIRC, and have better accuracy. Trench = Weapons that have better hip fire. Factory = Base weapons with no modifications/atttachments. Heavy = Shotguns with better accuracy, but bad hip fire, with a slight reduction in damage. Sharpshooter = Weapons with better control. When Does the Battlefield 1 Beta Start? It's almost time. The Battlefield 1 open beta is almost here. It's scheduled to kick off on August 31 for everyone on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. You may be able to play earlier than that, however, as Battlefield Insiders can jump in a day early, starting August 30. To be able to play early, you needed to have signed up for the free Insider program by August 21 and made a platform preference selection. Codes for Battlefield Insiders will be sent by email, though these do not appear to have been sent out as of 9 AM ET today, August 29. With the beta scheduled to begin tomorrow for Insiders, we'd expect codes to go out soon. On August 31, you won't need a code to play the Battlefield 1 beta. You will be able to find it from the PlayStation Store, Xbox Store, and on PC through Origin. There is no official word yet on the Battlefield 1 beta's file size, but a recent report claimed it would be around 6 GB on Xbox One. Presumably the file sizes for the other platforms would be similar. The Battlefield 1 beta takes players to the Sinai Desert map, which features horseback combat, a deadly armored train, planes, and more. There are two modes in the beta: Conquest and Rush. Matches can support up to 64 players. Check out this post to learn even more about Sinai Desert. Some other unknowns right now include the Battlefield 1 beta PC system requirements, if other maps and modes will be made available as the beta progresses, and when the pre-release play period will wrap up. For shits and giggles I tried to get info from 3 differnt server providers. Fragnet, NFO and Gameservers were the ones I tried. They all sent back info stating that they do not know as off yet if they will be available for rentals yet. It's not doctrine, we want players to be able to play custom games. We also want players to understand a game is custom, on PC you often end up in a custom game without realizing of intending that... I'm sure there's a way to fix that... Ok so here is the rumor and speculation part: I am OK with if you change any settings it makes your server custom - That is cool for us since we run stock game. I think if you have a custom server, it should be unranked. Banning cheaters or little trolls trying to cause trouble or by using racist remarks and ect., we may not be able to ban them. We may not be able to use some of the plugins we currently use like autobalancer or team sync. So who knows, these are only rumors at this time so don't read to much into as of yet. Hopefully after the beta test that starts at the end of this month we will find out a lot more. For the life of me I do not know why EA/DICE is be so secretive about all of this. We know we will have 64 players, it will be at least 60 hz (maybe not at launch) so really this is only a small question that needs to be answered.

Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S7 using tapatalk If you get this and your game does not pop up do this: So after having this issue myself and speaking with EA over the phone, it seems like this is such a new issue it's hard for people to diagnose, thanks to reddit user Rukudo, he posted this fix which seems to work for me. I've pasted his response below, it seems like an issue in Borderless mode, I'm assuming EA will release an update shortly to address this issue. Found a solution that worked for me. Seems like the game launching in borderless mode was an issue. I went to my PROFSAVE_profile file in the Battlefield 4 settings and edited the following lines to look like: GstRender.FullscreenEnabled 1 GstRender.FullscreenMode 0 GstRender.FullscreenScreen 0 For nubs, here's a step by step guide: Go to this location C:\Documents\Battlefield 4\settings or wherever your primary documents folder is. Open "PROFSAVE_profile" with Wordpad / Notepad++ Lines 28, 29 & 31 must be set to the same options as the quoted post above, this is what it should look like 6AOoQt3.png Done! The game should run as expected now, if you're still running into issues, check the Realtek Audio Driver as this is something that could also influence the issue.

Damn tornados have no since of timing. We lost all power. I got lucky though. Every tree in the neighborhood is down but mine. It just went north of my house. Every better there were no reports of injuries.
