  1. Well don't get your hopes up. It is in development. That does not mean it will make to airing on TV. It can take years before it makes it to TV. It could be cool though. Lots of timelines to cover.
  2. No official word on servers yet. Gator talked to our provider and they said there would be but they are waiting on DICE. Expect a price increase.

  5. Paramount Television and Anonymous Content option the rights to Battlefield TV series2016-07-11 START/ NEWS / PARAMOUNT TELEVISION AND ANONYMOUS CONTENT OPTION THE RIGHTS TO BATTLEFIELD TV SERIES Paramount Television and Anonymous Content have optioned the rights to a TV series based on Battlefield™ from DICE, an Electronic Arts Inc. studio. Michael Sugar, 2016 Academy Award winner, and Ashley Zalta from Anonymous Content will serve as executive producers. The Battlefield series has consistently been praised by critics for its world-class multiplayer gameplay, and is recognized for delivering the premier all-out war experience across land, sea and air. The award-winning series has amassed more than 60 million players worldwide since debuting in 2002, and the franchise continues to boast highly-engaged audiences across its catalogue titles. “Paramount TV actively seeks smart content from all sectors that will resonate with audiences and translate to compelling programming,” said Amy Powell, President, Paramount TV. “EA’s Battlefield has an incredibly dynamic narrative, coupled with a loyal fan base, which will allow us to bring this exciting and unique property to the small screen. We look forward to working with EA and Anonymous Content and thank Michael Sugar for his tenacity in bringing us this exciting project.” “Battlefield has a tremendous built-in, engaged fan base, making it a highly coveted piece of IP primed for long-form adaptation,” said Michael Sugar, partner, Anonymous Content. “Together with EA and Paramount TV, we’ll develop the Battlefield TV series with the same commitment to robust storytelling that has made the game such a runaway success for nearly fifteen years.” “Battlefield is one of the most loved properties among our players,” said Patrick Söderlund, Executive Vice President, EA. “We are thrilled that Anonymous Content and Paramount TV will look to introduce fans to Battlefield through a new medium.” Battlefield continues the partnership between Anonymous Content and Paramount TV, which have a first-look production deal for scripted television programming across broadcast, premium cable, cable and online audiences. This marks the organizations’ entrée into content based on a videogame franchise. Anonymous Content’s past TV projects include Mr. Robot and True Detective. “Michael’s track record speaks for itself,” added Patrick O’Brien, Vice President of EA Entertainment. “Combined with his passion for Battlefield, we cannot imagine a better team than Anonymous Content and Paramount for this project.” http://www.dice.se/news/paramount-television-anonymous-content-option-rights-battlefield-tv-series/
  6. Three weeks ago, DICE’s producer David Sirland confirmed that Battlefield 1, the new entry of the series currently in development for consoles and PC, is going to sport a 60Hz default tick rate, which should make online play quite smooth. Unfortunately, it seems like things aren’t set in stone as of now, judging from what another member of the team recently revealed. DICE LA Engineer Julian Manolov recently revealed on Twitter that the Battlefield 1 60Hz tick rate isa goal for the team, but there’s the chance that it may not be achieved. Manolov also confirmed that the game’s Alpha currently has a 60Hz tick rate on PC and 30 on consoles. Julian Manolov also denied recently that the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One version of Battlefield 1 will come with a FOV slider, as seen in the current Alpha. He has since removed the tweet denying the feature’s inclusion, and has now confirmed that the console version of Battlefield 1 will indeed get the FOV slider. With the lifting of the NDA for the Battlefield 1 Closed Alpha, plenty of new footage has emerged online in the past few days. One of the more interesting videos that have been made available is a comparison video which compares the console versions with the PC version at Ultra settings. The PC version obviously looks much better than the PS4 and Xbox One version, but those planning to get Battlefield 1 on consoles will still be able to get a rather good looking game. http://wccftech.com/battlefield-1-60hz-tick-rate-goal-may-not-achieved-fov-slider-officially-confirmed-consoles/
  7. Looks cool but I will stick with my Logitech

  15. we just do not tolerate that sort of behavior. CYA racist! I just love how it now auto bans for disrespectful pieces of crap like this. Maybe he will learn from it!
  16. Axlerod replied to Axlerod's topic in Gaming
If you played SWBF, then you now there were no rental servers available. They had more then a few but not near enough. I am still not pre-ordering it. They have said plenty about the servers but the rental admin questions. Not good. Why?
  17. Axlerod replied to Axlerod's topic in Gaming
But yet they do not answer the questions, will there be rentalble, admin controlled servers. WHY? Now battlelog will be going away for something else but what?

David Sirland ‏@tiggr_ 3h3 hours ago We are aware of the currently overloaded servers in BF4, and adding a bunch all over the globe because of it!

  20. LOL I read this earlier at work Good job getting it posted.

They had everyone on their backs about this very subject in SWBF. A month or so ago they talked about the game and said the exact same thing they post today. Get with your friends and then join a server. Oh we wont be allowing anyone to host a server. Don't worry about those guys with 100 kill streaks. They are just good players.
  22. Axlerod replied to Axlerod's topic in Gaming
They said that in a video a while back. Smells like SWBF to me.

@AreaMike @BFBulletin I can't give any numbers yet, the goal is tickrate=fps always. Better than BF4. David Sirland‏ @tiggr_ @AreaMike @BFBulletin @rivaLxfactor Optimizing is on the way for servers and then client improvements. The goal is FPS = tickrate. David Sirland‏ @tiggr_ @AreaMike @BFBulletin @rivaLxfactor 15% better is at 30hz, at 60hz it's slightly better still. Baserates are not set yet. Optimizing David Sirland‏ @tiggr_ @Inv4der_x_Zimm @BFBulletin @rivaLxfactor We'll see! We are working on optimizing servers ATM David Sirland‏ @tiggr_ @Nitrox204 @AreaMike @BFBulletin Server limits the max ofc, supporting 144hz max ATM JudithBarrett32450 liked your Tweet. Ken Uhle‏ @KUHLE1@tiggr_ why can't you tell us if server rentals will be available? What are you worried about? What is the big change in pc? <----- That one is from me!
  24. Ok ban is not going to be lifted. If you want to provide a video of you playing bf4 and scoring 2000 points post minute W we will re-evaluate. In the video, we must see you and your gaming screen and your hands. Thank you and have a nice day Sent from my VS980 4G using Tapatalk
