  3. ou’re probably already well-versed in the Battlefield 1 metagame by now. You can play to each class’ strength, you have counters to almost every play in the game, you know the best way to push objectives and so on. But, Battlefield 1 is full of small hidden mechanics and other lesser-known quirks that the community unravelled over hundreds of hours of collective play. Which is exactly what we’re going to talk about it here, the things you didn’t think can be done, and other tips of that nature. Some of the veterans among you will probably know a couple of these, but most will be new to everyone. You can free-look in planes This one is perhaps more straightforward on consoles than it is on PC. While flying a plane, you can have your view move independently from the default centre-front, meaning you could be going forward but looking to the side or back. This helps when you want to check if you’re being chased, or to line up your shots for a ground attack. All you need to do is bind a key on your keyboard or mouse to this function. In the Options menu go to ‘Key Bindings’. Under the ‘In Plane’ tab bind a key to the ‘Free Look Aircraft’ option. I use a button on my mouse to do it, easier to remember that way. Just keep in mind you’ll need to hold this key and move the mouse to free-look. You can pick a male announcer for multiplayer Loads of players don’t know there’s an option to have a male voice announcer in multiplayer matches. Battlefield 1 defaults to the female version, and many thought this to be the only option. There’s a male option, and it’s as calm and collected as the female one. You can switch between them by heading to the Options menu, and toggling the ‘Announcer Voice’ option under ‘Audio’. It won’t change the objective name phonetics (Apples, Butter etc), unfortunately, but it’s there if you want it. You can prevent accidentally issuing orders when pressing the spot button If pressing the spot button is second nature to you in Battlefield games and you happen to be a squad leader, you may have noticed that a lot of times when you’re trying to spot enemies, you issue attack or defend orders without intending to do so. This is because Battlefield 1 requires more accurate spotting in order to reveal enemies. If you’re spamming the button in the enemy’s general direction, which happens to be in the vicinity of an objective, the game will think you’re trying to give an order. This is even more annoying when you’re the gunner in a plane and keep spamming spot to identify enemies below, only to spot nothing and end up giving multiple attack and defend orders. There’s a way to stop this, but doing so means you can only issue commands from the commo rose. Head to Options, under Gameplay > Advanced and set Context-Based Order Giving to No. Now, you’ll need to choose the objective names from the list that pops up when you hover over attack or defend in the commo rose. You can disable individual turrets on tanks Battlefield 1 has a couple of new tank mechanics veterans of the series may not have picked up on right away. Previously, the entire tank had a single health pool that you depleted by damaging it. In Battlefield 1, you can disable individual turrets on tanks, to prevent them from covering specific angles. This is crucial to learn, because most tank guns can only cover limited angles. Disabling one of the turrets means less fire power and a big blind spot for the driver. This is especially helpful when you’re facing a Landship tank, because some of that tank’s setups include multiple player-controlled turrets. Taking them out one by one will force the driver to retreat. All you need to do is aim your AT-Rocket Gun at the turret to take it out. You can do this with Dynamite and other anti-tank grenades, but your shot will be less predictable and may end up just damaging the main hull. Equipping a bayonet increases the time it takes to bring up your weapon after sprinting There it is: the downside to equipping a bayonet on your weapon. Everyone knows the upside, which is being able to do the charge attack, of course. But, when you attach a bayonet to your weapon, it will take you a bit longer to bring it up after sprinting. The game doesn’t communicate this stat, but you can easily test it out yourself. The difference is slim but noticeable, and so it’s probably better to remove the thing when you’re in a CQC map, because you can’t afford this delay when engaging enemies at close range. You can initiate a bayonet charge before entering water to swim faster This is one of those things that we’re not sure if it’s a bug or a just an unintended side effect of the bayonet charge. All you need to do is press the melee button after running (to execute the melee charge) just as you’re about to cross some water. This works great on maps like Fao Fortress when you’re trying to quickly make your way to the points by the coast. This also helps if you know you’ll be swimming for a long distance to flank an enemy, as it shortens the time you’re going to take considerably. The effect won’t last for long, but it’s enough to get you to the other side in less than half the time. As an attacker in Operations, killing off remaining enemies in the sector refunds some of your tickets If you’re on the attacking team in Operations and manage to capture a sector, you may have noticed how the game highlights remaining defenders. You need to kill as many of them as you can before they retreat. There’s a big reason for this: you get refunded some of your tickets for each one you kill. Tickets is what’s consumed every time someone on your team spawns. The more tickets your team has, the more chances you’ll get to attack the next sector. The circular icons around retreating defenders makes them easy to spot, so don’t waste any time and take them out. As a defender in Operations, successfully retreating instantly refills your health and ammo When playing Operations, if you lose a sector as a defender and must retreat, you need to do so as quickly as you can. Dying to attackers before you can fall back is bad for a number of reasons, not least of which is that it gives them free tickets. If you do manage to fall back, however, the game will reward you by by instantly filling up your health and ammo, which is great since you’ve more than likely been getting shot at for a few seconds. You can kill people with the Syringe and Repair Hammer Although these tools are not meant to kill other players, they can be used to do that in a pinch. For the Syringe, you’ll need to charge it up a bit by holding the button for a few seconds. Doing that lets you one-hit kill an enemy after attacking them with it. This can only be done when it’s charged, however, so don’t bother just spamming it around enemies. The Repair Hammer the Support and Tanker classes have can also be used to kill enemies. There’s no trick to this one, just spam it until they drop. You won’t go into a takedown animation like with other melee weapons, but it does decent damage that could save your life.

EA confirmed the departure of Bach, who worked at DICE in various jobs at the Stockholm, Sweden studio that just shipped Battlefield 1. “I’ve had an epic ride at DICE and EA, filled with amazingly creative and passionate people, and unforgettable experiences with our player community,” Bach said to PlayStation Lifestyle, which first reported the news. “I’ll certainly be playing Battlefield 1 for a long, long time to come, and I look forward to seeing what’s next from the incredible team at DICE.” Patrick Soderlund, executive vice president of EA Worldwide Studios, said in a statement, “Patrick Bach has been a great colleague to many across DICE and EA for almost 15 years. We thank him for all of his contributions, especially to our Battlefield franchise and community, and wish him all the best on his next adventure.” Bach started at DICE in 2002. He was the lead designer on RalliSport Challenge 2. I started interviewing him at various events related to Battlefield game launches. For the past 12 years, he worked on Battlefield games, starting with Battlefield: Bad Company. EA’s Battlefield 1 launched formally on October 21. Bach was named general manager of DICE in 2014. He also oversaw the production of Mirror’s Edge Catalyst and the upcoming sequel to Star Wars Battlefront. All 3 previous games did not bring in the earnings expected for shareholders. Look for another good game in 3 years.
  6. I made some changes to teamspeak in the battlefield 1 sub channels. (Team 1, Team 2, ect...) When you join, please join one of the team channels and get you squad going. If you leave the game, leave the channel. This way, players will know who to join in game to fill in your squad. The sub channels (Team X) will only allow 5 players in them. Thank you all for your cooperation.
  7. i got a Fix for the problem, i got everytime Random after 5-20 Minutes a Bluescreen, only in Battlefield 1. I´m sure we all getting the Bluescreen´s from the CPU (overclocking) My CPU was overclocking on 4,6 GHZ from 4,0 GHZ, i changed it back to 4,0 GHZ and no Bluescreen´s for me anymore. I dont know, but BF1 can´t handle a overclocking CPU.
  8. Hi guys, I noticed that cpu usage dropped significantly, relatively speaking, when I did two things: a) Cap fps using a custom config: https://diaryofdennis.com/2016/08/11/how-to-create-a-config-file-for-battlefield-1/ The guy who wrote this guide caps at 60 fps. I cap at 122. Feel free to cap at whatever helps work the gpu. b) In your driver control panel set Max rendered frames to 1. For nVidia this is Maximum pre-rendered frames. For AMD this is Flip Queue size. This isn't going to help everyone, but it will mitigate high cpu usage and low fps a bit. Let's hope a patch is forthcoming. **edit** Apparently current AMD drivers have no such option. You guys have to use RadeonMod to set flip queue size: http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?t=403389 ***edit2x*** @Tothert3 has written a configuration tool that might be easier, especially for AMD guys who no longer have the flip queue option: https://github.com/PeterBustraan/BF1SimpleFPSTweaks/releases/tag/0.1.2 This works for me also, actually here `s what happens. My system is i7 6700 3.7 Ghz, R9 280x 3Gb, 8 Gb DDR4. Changing in game the RenderDevice.RenderAheadLimit: RenderDevice.RenderAheadLimit 1 - significantly lowers and limits the GPU usage to 70 %(can not reach higher) . CPU usage lowers abit down to 70 %. A lot of sluttering and FPS limited to 50. RenderDevice.RenderAheadLimit 0 - (default value) - 99 % GPU Usage | 95-100 % CPU Usage. RenderDevice.RenderAheadLimit 2 - 99 % GPU Usage | 70-85 % CPU usage. RenderDevice.RenderAheadLimit 3 - 99 % GPU Usage | 70-85 % CPU usage. In my configuration RenderDevice.RenderAheadLimit 2 gives the best combo. Hyperthreading is enabled.
  9. DirectX Function "GetDeviceRemovedReason" failed with DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG. GPU: "Nvidia GeForce GTX 690", Driver: 37306 I've literally spent more then an hour trying to find a fix without any result. As usual, i do not get any response from the EA support, which is quite annoying. I have used the later driver, which did not help. I have used the previous driver, which did not help. I have tried re-installing the game and repairing the game, which did not help. All suggested Fixes that did not work for this specific error (Thanks to Kirister for keeping this list up to date) : GPU (GTX 770) - Underclocked Core (-105MHz, which is the max value) / Mem (-685MHz). - Set maximum safe values for Overvolt, Power and Temperature target. - GPU temperature goes up to 75°c in 100% load, which is within the normal range. - Removed GPU physically and cleaned the dust off. - Stress tested GPU using Furmark: no issue. - Set display to 60Hz (from 144Hz). - No crash in any other game than BF1, including BF4. GPU Drivers (nVIDIA) - Tested drivers 368.81, 372.70 (nvapi64.dll bypass), 372.90, 373.03, 375.57, 375.64, 375.70. - Uninstalled Geforce Experience (which includes Shadowplay). - nVIDIA control panel: Power management mode – prefer maximum performance - nVIDIA control panel: Threaded optimization – off - nVIDIA control panel: Triple buffering – off - nVIDIA control panel: Vertical sync – off - nVIDIA control panel: Maximum pre rendered frames – 3 (and 1, 2) - nVIDIA control panel: PhysX to CPU - Disabled all nVIDIA services. - Minimal nVIDIA drivers install (without physx, hd audio, geforce experience and 3d vision). Battlefield 1 - Deleted settings (BF1 Folder in Documents). - Repaired BF1. - Deleted, re-downloaded and reinstalled BF1 completely. - Switched from DX12 to DX11. - Switched from Fullscreen to Borderless. - Ran the game as admin. - Tested lowest settings. - Toggled GPU Memory Restriction ON/OFF. - User.cfg: Gametime.MaxVariableFps 60 (and 61~80...) - User.cfg: RenderDevice.Dx11Dot1Enable 1 and RenderDevice.Dx11Dot1RuntimeEnable 1 - User.cfg: RenderDevice.RenderAheadLimit 2 (and 1, and 3) - Motion Blur and Weapon DOF turned OFF. - Tested with no ALT-TAB out of the game and fresh Windows session. - Sacrified a goat. Its not only Nvidia, but AMD aswell. Confirmed very recently by nVIDIA themselves: We are looking into this. We were able to reproduce this on a competitor board as well so I do not know if a fix will come through a driver update or a patch until we do further investigation. 10. Problem: Hello i don't have the best internet but i have around 30 ping most the time playing battlefield and manage to get into a game every time but at a random point before the game ends i get disconnected to the main menu and the massage saying i have lost connection to ea servers, i press connect and instantly connect again and jump back into a game just to repeat the process. This constant disconnecting only happens on battlefield Solution: I have tried everything that EA recommends me to do. And more than that. Have been working on this for almost three weeks now. But last night i took my computer to a friend with a diffrent ISP and it worked fine! So now my ISP is looking into it.

  12. Both recently released Call Of Duty titles are now available on PC platforms. Unfortunately, those who purchased Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare and Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered on the Windows Store for Windows 10 can only play the game exclusively with fellow gamers who also use the same operating system and got their game from the Store. Activision Responsible For Windows 10 Exclusivity "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered for Windows 10 on Windows Store" Activision FAQ confirms that the Microsoft edition of the game is not compatible for play with other versions of the game bought from other stores, such as Steam. Cross-platform support between Windows 10 and Xbox One is also out of the question as Microsoft states via Windows Central that they only support cross-play for platforms and devices depending on what their partner prefers. Based on this statement, it seems that Activision has made the call to segregate the Windows 10 audience away from the others. Meanwhile, Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare is currently not found in the Windows Store. The Modern Warfare Remastered page is live, but it is unavailable for separate purchase. However, the description in the page reads that Modern Warfare Remastered is available in both the 'Digital Legacy' and 'Digital Deluxe' editions of Infinite Warfare. Technical Problems Caused Windows 10 Separation? In a report by PC Gamer, they concluded that the reason why Infinite Warfare was deemed exclusive for Windows 10 is because of technical difficulties faced against the Windows 7 compatible version on Steam. Regardless, the situation still remains bleak as to why the publisher, specifically Activision, decided to rule out the Windows 10 version away from the rest of the PC populace. It is noted by PCWorld that the Call Of Duty presence in PC is already minimal than the consoles and putting the game away from the others will undoubtedly push the Windows 10-specific COD community to extinction.
  13. Yes I think you are right. The game is getting interesting. Where is the maze?

  15. http://www.blastr.com/2016-11-4/dwight-taunts-defeated-daryl-new-clip-walking-dead Somebody is poking a bear. Last Sunday’s episode of The Walking Dead took a much-needed respite from the horrors of the Season 7 premiere by checking in with Carol (Melissa McBride) and Morgan (Lennie James), and introducing us (and them) to the colorful King Ezekiel (Khary Peyton), his pet tiger Shiva and a brand-new community in The Kingdom. But this Sunday, we’re going back to the heavy business of Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) and his Saviors, where Daryl (Norman Reedus) is now being taken as a prisoner. A new clip from the episode titled “The Cell” has made its way online thanks to the good folks at Comicbook.com, which shows a defeated Daryl with Dwight (Austin Amelio), who’s getting handier with our favorite redneck’s crossbow by the minute (just like his comic book counterpart). Talking about Daryl, Norman Reedus said in a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly that Daryl will never forgive himself for Glenn’s (Steven Yeun) death, and that will lead the character to go to a very dark place. Here's what he said: “He goes into a very dark place. He completely takes the weight of that and just carries that with him. He never forgives himself and he takes full responsibility. Although the thing is, Daryl didn’t say “Oh if I do this, they’ll kill Glenn.” Nobody knows what’s going to happen with that guy with the bat. Nobody knows anything. But what he was doing was protecting Rosita. Negan had that bloody bat, waving it in her face, yelling at her, and it’s right in front of my face too. We were right next to each other. And he was picking on Rosita and Daryl stood up for her and he stood up for Abraham. The outcome of that, nobody knew that was going to happen.”

  17. As Battlefield 1‘s servers continue to experience outages, some players demand refunds from EA and DICE, expressing frustration that they can’t play multiplayer. Although people have heaped tons of praise on Battlefield 1‘s single player campaign, players have been especially enthusiastic about its multiplayer. From ridiculous tank versus train battles to gravity defying kills, EA and DICE’s new first person shooter is giving plans plenty of share-worthy multiplayer moments. Sadly, though, that action isn’t always available as Battlefield 1‘s servers have been experiencing some trouble. Since the game launched on October 21, several server outages have occurred, affecting multiple EA games (including FIFA 17). Though the server problems at launch were likely a result of the huge DDoS attack that affected most of the web in October, the problems have continued over the past few days and some disgruntled Battlefield 1 players have now demanded that they be given a refund. According to reports, the server problems are affecting players of EA games across the globe, particularly in North America and the UK. The EA support Twitter account confirmed recent outages with logging into Origin and EA Access (from the last 22 hours), also saying that it has “resolved issues.” However, players still claim that the problems are ongoing and though the support team does appear to be communicating with those affected, no official statement has been made. This, combined with the fact that the problems don’t appear to be a one-off is fueling those refund demands. Battlefield 1 Guide: How to Level Up Fast - Battlefield 1 trench warfare Also contributing to fan frustration is the fact that Battlefield 1‘s servers were already tested earlier this year, when the beta was hit with a DDoS attack. While it’s true that the November examples of server problems may just be a result of the game’s overwhelming popularity, players still argue that EA and DICE should have been prepared for this and should have taken steps to make sure outages didn’t happen. Some Battlefield 1 fans have also pointed out just how much EA and DICE have been using servers to both promote and make money from the game. In addition to Battlefield 1 server rentals, today there came news that there are plans to introduce hardcore servers too. “How can EA and DICE promote and monetize servers that don’t work as they’re supposed to?” is the question on players’ lips. Even if it may be a minority of fans asking for refunds at the moment, hopefully EA and DICE will get the servers running right soon. https://gamerant.com/battlefield-1-server-problems-refunds-113/
  18. DICE today revealed some of the changes for and additions to Battlefield 1coming in the future. First, the developer said in a blog post that it will tweak the Suez map to make Conquest matches "more balanced and the map size more fitting." There are currently only three flags, but the update will add two more, for a total of five, bringing the map more in line with others in Conquest. Additionally, the capture area size for two of the control points (A and C) are being reduced in an effort to create "more dynamic matches." Further still, one additional armored vehicle will be added to each side's base. DICE didn't say when the update that makes these changes will be released. Moving on, DICE also announced that it's adding "hardcore" servers for Battlefield 1. These servers, aimed at "elite" players, are "coming soon," but DICE didn't say when they will arrive. This could include things like no radar or changes to health regeneration. Additionally, DICE revealed that it will hold a "Battlfest" event. Beginning on November 16 and running for a week, this event will include things like "new activities," as well as another Battlepack to unlock. There will also be community missions and bonuses for logging in. No specifics were provided about any of this, but DICE said fans should 'stay tuned for more details. One part of Battlefest is the addition of more custom games, one of which is called Fog of War. As the name suggests, this team deathmatch mode will challenge players by virtue of limited sightlines due to the fog. Additionally, the mini-map and player name tags are turned off. As it happens, Fog of War was the working title of the canceled third-person Call of Duty game set in Vietnam. Finally, DICE said it will launch a "major" update for Battlefield 1 later this month. It will add the game's rent-a-server program, as well as "various tweaks and improvements." There will also be a new custom game (whether this is Fog of War or something else wasn't specified), in addition to "tweaks to matchmaking and server balancing." Battlefield 1's first DLC map, Giant's Shadow, launches in December free to all players. In other Battlefield 1 news, EA said during an earnings call this week that the game's total player base after its first week was "nearly double" that of Battlefield 4 during its launch week.
  19. http://www.forbes.com/sites/insertcoin/2016/11/02/ea-is-wrong-battlefield-1-absolutely-helped-trample-titanfall-2/#243b823e3103 Yes even FORBES is watching what is going on in the gaming industry. Yesterday on EA’s earnings call, the news was mostly positive extolling solid revenue and sales on many fronts, but one set of numbers was missing from the equation. EA talked only about high review scores for Titanfall 2 (our own Erik Kain just gave it a 10/10), but avoided talking specific sales figures. Recently, analysts have slashed estimates of the “substantially disappointing” Titanfall 2 from 9 million to 6 million sales, and the narrative is already taking shape that the acclaimed (but expensive) game is, at the very least, a commercial failure. The one question through all of this has been simple. Why did EA decide to release Titanfall 2 now? It’s a series still trying to find its footing after a rocky Xbox-only, multiplayer-only launch in 2014, and it’s been dumped headfirst into the busiest time of the year. Not only that, but it’s not as if TF2 is EA’s only big game of the fall. Just a week before the launch of Titanfall 2, EA released its own monster, Battlefield 1, a game that also debuted to high praise, and seems poised to actually outperform its initial sales estimates. Addressing this issue, EA CEO Andrew Wilson had this to say: “We think there’s really three types of players,” Wilson said. “People that really love Battlefield and that kind of big strategic gameplay that will orient in that direction; the player that loves the fast, fluid, kinetic gameplay of Titanfall 2 that really orient in that direction; and the player that just has to play the two greatest shooters this year and will buy both.” Excuse me? Despite the fact that Battlefield 1 is about WWI and bayonet charges and Titanfall 2 is about giant mecha robot battles, many players are only able to choose one of these games, even if they want both. The idea that only three types of people exist in the world, ones that like Battlefield, ones that like Titanfall, or both, is ludicrous. EA’s plan, though they’re not saying it outright, is clear here. The idea for this fall was to take a traditional competitor to Call of Duty, Battlefield, and pair it with a non-traditional competitor to Call of Duty, Titanfall, and the result would be a double-team that would siphon sales away from Activision’s monster. But placing Battlefield 1 ahead of Titanfall 2 forced players to make a choice, if they didn’t have unlimited money to spend on games. And when BF1 reviewed exceptionally well, many just went out and bought that, and Titanfall 2 was no longer in the budget when it came out a week later, no matter what the reviews said. And Battlefield is not the only thing Titanfall has to fight against. You would think that’s obvious, but perhaps not in this bubble where EA lives, where the only type of people that exist in the world are the ones buying EA games. In this window, Titanfall 2 isn’t just competing against Battlefield 1 (and it is competing with it, despite claims to the contrary), it’s up against Destiny: Rise of Iron, Overwatch, Civ 6, Skyrim Special Edition, Dishonored 2 and Watch Dogs 2, plus it’s “intended target,” Infinite Warfare. Yes, only a couple of those would be considered direct competition, but the overall point is that this was a horrible release window for a series that desperately needed to prove itself, and would have been better off doing so during a time of the year when it could stand alone, or at the very least, not be strangled to death. As in, any other period of time besides the two busiest months of the year. Now, the press has to do EA’s job for them, trying to convince people that despite drowning in AAA releases, that Titanfall 2 is worth a look. We’re not doing this because we care at all about EA making money, it’s because we want our readers to play a game that we think is really rad that has been absolutely buried by its parent company. Even if Battlefield 1 didn’t exist, this probably was still the wrong time to debut Titanfall 2, as it is in no way ready to take on a behemoth like Infinite Warfare at this point, nor square off against all these other games either. But Battlefield 1 dropping just a week earlier was a bayonet in the heart, and sent a clear message that either EA didn’t care how Titanfall 2 performed, or they just badly misunderstood the market. From Wilson’s explanation, it seems like it’s the latter. There are only so many hours in the day to spend on multiplayer shooters, and it doesn’t matter if one is fast and one is slow, or one is in the past and one is the future. They’re similar enough where many players are only going to have the time and the money for one, and because of Battlefield’s blow-out marketing campaign, franchise history, and earlier release date, the already-in-a-precarious-position Titanfall was just crushed by its own supposed “ally.” It’s like EA thought they were organizing some sort of rigged 2v1 gladiator match against Call of Duty, but right out of the gate, Battlefield swung its huge battleaxe around and accidentally gored Titanfall. EA talks a lot about the “long lifespan” of their games, and hopefully Titanfall 2 is able to build on all this great early buzz and become a staple of the genre. The game will be producing free DLC for its entire lifespan (another reason to pick it up), and we have seen other games debut without much fanfare, but go on to be excellent, like Rainbow Six Siege, most recently. Still, trying to pretend like this wasn’t a mistake is absurd. Titanfall should have either debuted this summer or next winter, but sending it out here and now was an invitation for the game to sink into quicksand from the moment of release. If you’re a fan of the genre, it deserves your time, and it deserves better than EA’s rollout.
  20. http://www.pcgamer.com/ea-confirms-2017-release-for-star-wars-battlefront-2/ Electronic Arts spent a big chunk of yesterday's earnings call talking about Titanfall 2 and its plan for the franchise for "years to come." But it also revealed a bit about another of its heavy hitters, Star Wars Battlefront, when CFO Blake Jorgensen hinted that the sequel will arrive near the end of 2017. EA has previously said that Star Wars Battlefront 2, or whatever it ends up being called, will be out sometime in 2017. But Jorgensen got a little more precise with the timing in response to a question about the likelihood of a new Star Wars Battlefront game in 2017, saying (via Seeking Alpha), "the next Battlefront [is] coming a year from now," and added that EA is "working very hard on making sure that is an extremely deep and engaging offering." It's not a firm release date, nor is it exactly a revelation: The previous Star Wars Battlefront was released in November 2015, and that's when major game releases tend to come out anyway, as we're seeing right now with Battlefield 1, Titanfall 2, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, and Dishonored 2 (among others) all crammed together within about a three-week window. But it's good to hear that things are proceeding apace, and Jorgensen suggested that Visceral's Star Wars game, the one being worked on by Amy Hennig and Jade Raymond, remains on track too. It still hasn't been officially announced but is expected out in 2018. "We've talked about an action title that's not yet announced, but we're very excited and that's a good chance that that will fall into fiscal 2018," Jorgensen said. "I'm not yet giving guidance for 2018, so I want to be careful that we don't get overboard. But we're confident that we should be able to comp a strong year this year." Yeah, after the butchered job they did on last years SWBF that ruined my favorite series of all time, I will not buy it. Not even interested in try the beta for it. As far as I am concerned, they should give it to everyone that bought the game as an apology.
  21. Well since I couldn't play bf1 yesterday, I power watched the series "stranger things" I got 7 out of the 8 episodes watched. OMG thank you Gator. Great series. The show is so 80s retro. The sound track reminds me the original tron movie sound track. I like all the cool movie posters to. The thing and the evil dead. For the record there is no hawkins Indiana. Which is suppose to be near Jonesboro and Indianapolis. That would place it near me. Funny thing is, it's all flat farm land around heat. Now southern Indiana is all rolling hills and trees. 22. From the battlefield 1 forums: I run 2 xr9 390s but disable crossfire , using a 144hz 27" 1440p screen, everything maxed out and getting between 60 - 70 fps using the latest WHQL driver, which is the most stable for this game. AMD FX8350 cpu standard. Enabling crossfire or DX12 gives worse performance. Go figure.
  23. You need to keep up. I still can't wait for next Sunday's episode. Anyone watch West World? That is another epic show to check out.
  24. Well Morgan and Carol are alive. They are in the Kingdom with Ezekiel. He has a Tiger (Shiva). He is a different kind of crazy when compared to Negan and his group (saviors) but in a funny kind of way. They pay hommage to Negan as well. The let pigs feed on the walkers then give the pigs to the saviors. LOL Talk about spitting in their food. hmm will Rick and his group team up with the Kingdom and take out the saviors? It was a slower episode. Lot of character building. Like Ezekiel was a zookeeper and used to act in community theater. It was a good episode. I can not wait until next week.
  25. UPDATE 3: Will there be RCON or PROCON tools? We are commited to developing in-game support for the most popular plugins used with previous Battlefield titles to ensure that admins have similar levels of customization. However, the new RSP servers will not support 3rd party tools like RCON or ProCON. Please stay tuned to the Battlefield channels for more updates. Why are the prices different for PC and console? PC servers will be running at 60Hz, with console servers running at 30Hz. Pricing has been adjusted accordingly. Please stay tuned to the Battlefield channels for more updates. Are the prices for servers affected by slot-size? Server rental prices are not set by slot-size, but the slot-size will vary depending on the mode chosen in the rotation.
