im Army at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology who combines with ISU and USI. I cant get over how cool it was to just open up with the SAW, it felt really controllable and accurate, even over extended bursts, I just wish I had been on one of the lanes where the OPFOR had a slightly better fighting chance than the ones i was on.

Hey guys, just got back from my first ROTC FTX. Heat, cold, rain, sun, all in the course of one weekend at Wendell Ford Regional training center. For the most part it was fun, even the whole "no showers for a weekend" thing, the only really crappy part was a 3 mile ruck march at night with yours truly being the SAW gunner (those things get heavy after a while) after which we spend HOURS cleaning weapons that were dirty BEFORE we shot a crapload of blanks doing lanes.The lane exercises were awesome, basically a grown up version of "guns" we all played as kids. We used blanks, and evaluators decided when someone was dead or not, but it was still cool, even without MILES gear. I got to be an OPFOR SAW gunner, a US soldier, and another OPFOR. It was good time, no big problems (the seniors who organized and executed the FTX did a spectacular job, Id hate to be the enemy facing their platoon in a year or so's time).Aight all, back to hw, sigh, i wish I could play with you guys : (-DEFCON (formerly Flak)

guys, i dont mean to be a jerk, but I told you what my options are, PLEASE keep on topic. I CANNOT afford a good video card right now, and I would appreciate it if you dont turn this into a benchmark comparison thread. The computer whose where the card will go is only a temp. rig till I save to buy a new one when PCI express, SLI, and BTX become mainstream.

I have the option of buying the former or keeping the Latter. My current one (the ATI) runs CS:S beautifully since HL2 is optimized for ATI, as well as the BF series pretty well, and Doom3 ok, but the Ti has more memory and is a fair good card from what I have heard. Im going to run benchmarks since i have both cards on hand (kind of like a risk free trial), but Im looking for qualitative as well as quantitative advice.

we just moved into simple dynamics on a 2d plane, stuff im sure is equivalent to basic addition/subtraction Ky, but is hard as hell for me. I can barely manipulate a vector let alon juggle graphs, vectors, and kinematics simultaneously

Hey guys, i have been on the forums a fair bit (a little less lately since physics is reaming me), but havent been playing with you guys. I apologize for this, I have been in TAC for 2 years + so far (i think thats right) and have no intention of leaving, I just havent had time to play. As soon as I can I will get back to playing with you guys again, I would really really love to play in clan scrims/matches etc. I just havent had time. Rest assured though, Flak/Def isnt going anywhere unless you guys want me or force me to leave.
