ok, i prolly should have posted this sooner: I wrote this thread when I was in a bad mood and was hoping 2.9 would make things all better. It wasnt out so I took out my anger on 2.9, simple displacement. As i said, the FA team has never failed me, and Valve was awesome too, at least for a while.

you seem to be in a perpetual bad mood kami. It was just a little bit of sarcastic humor, the FA team has yet to let me down.

oh I must have missed that part, ok, well in that case I guess we will see 2.9 about the same time as HL2 and TF2. Wasnt that date prophesized in Revelation somewhere?

they announced 2.9 was done 4 days ago, and yet it still isnt out. I think they need to define exactly what they mean by done. Does it really take 4 days to build and installer and distribute to mirrors?

wait, i thought the HL engine reached max number of weps in FA a whilte ago, how are they still adding new shizzle? Further, I think there should be a match where it is all M4 vs. all FAMAS so we can determine what the new, "Im compensating for my complete lack of any tactical skill by grabbing a weapon that puts up an unstoppable wall of lead in .00001 seconds weapon" weapon. I think I will stick with the M14 and the M16

Guys, Im trying to practice my FA skills, and while I know constant repetition and playing will help, does anyone have any additional tips or tricks they would be willing to share concerning FA in general (eg weapon handling, evasive movement, key configs, mouse sensitivity, etc.) Anything would be appreciated.

Im not sure how this translates into C, but unless the room I keep my computer in is physically warm, my fans keep my video card and CPU going at sub 90 (sometimes high 70s) F temps even under full load. Im not sure what could be causing your problem, is your thermal grease interfacing correctly? Are your fans blowing the right way? Mac will prolly have the answer, but this is what I cna contribute
