yay, Santa dropped me so fine loot/bling this year. I can finally play BF 1942, and a cheater free Xbox CS. Also got a nice big USB jumpdrive, a fine craftsmen dremel-esque tool with all the trimmings (time to mod up my case some MORE!), some noise canceling earphones, and the Da Vinci Code (Already a 100 pages in). Im as giddy as, well, a kid opening gifts on Christmas. But lets not forget the real reason for the season, and all the people out there who are ducking incoming fire while trimming the firebase Christmas tree.Merry Christmas All!PSWhat did "Santa" leave yall under the tree?

oh yeah, most the guns are balanced, its just that those that arent or are abscent (british MG) really throw things off. I wish they would add an M2 .50 cal that would have a low ROF but could shoot through some walls. They would probably require a 2 man team to account for weight and balance, but it would be a nice counterpart to the MG42 and its wall o' lead

WooHoo! I just got a letter of acceptance to Rose Hulman Institute of technology, number one college of engineering in the US that offers Bachelors and Masters! Now at least I know I have somewhere to go if my other choices don't pan out.

a while back i decided to use only the 92f as my primary weapon, you would be surprised how useful it is. I was getting 2:1 ratios for while. Course, couldnt do that now, i need to practice. But thats my FA moment, the time when I pwned with the 92f

Ok, I'm looking for some Palm OS on which i can at least edit code for java, i dont need to be able to compile though it would be nice. maybe perhaps a full featured text editor with which i can enter code and save to PC as .java easily. yeah, WTH, CoD hooked my dad, a 48yr old ex army dude who tries to forget the military. He has beaten it twice so far, while I myself beat it in 2 or 3 record gaming sessions (VERY rare for me nowadays). on topic, DoD is an excellent game, but i think it is crippled by the overly powerful German weapons and the Enfield. I realize they strive for realism but if you look at most servers, they seem to indicate that in real life the allies wouldnt have made it to within 2 miles of normandy beach before being eviscerated by thermonuclear stick bombs and atomic machine pistols/guns. I believe they still have a lot of play balancing to do but they just wont acknowledge it. Ah crap, now im ranting about DOD again, i promised myself i would try to stop doing that (some very bad DOD memories)

ive noticed that 2k doesnt do very well with newer tech, especially AMD. Super redundant, but go with XP, i cant even remember what a BSOD looks like. they are nothing but horrible, horrible memories

I left santa some oh so subtle hints about wanting BF 42 for Xmas this year, so im going to say count me in, though i wont get to play till after Xmas. I played a little DC early on with a, er, uh, less than legit copy of BF and a uh purloined Cd key (i dont do it anymore, i swear) and saw it had great potential. After seeing some of the promos for the newer versions i have been desperately wanting to play it for some time now.

ok, i performed some HDD CPR and mouth to mouth and managed to recover almost everything on the drive and get it running again. You know, I kinda like solving these types of problems even if they wouldnt be there in the first place if it werent for my own stupid meddling

UPDATE: Ok i have things working again properly, but I have just made a terrible discovery, the hard crash caused my HDD to physically corrupt 2 parts of my harddrive, MS Office and overnet. Now, parts of both folders are corrupted to the point that just D-clicking on the folder causes a drive not ready error. I realize I can no longer get the data back, but can someone assist in damage control, so that i can eliminate the 1000s of remainder files a partially corrupted and unremovable office is sure to leave? Also, will chkdsk make the corrupted parts invisible to the OS? ie will it mark the sectors as bad so my OS will stop trying to access them? As a last note, I think this thing was localized to my small secondary 20 gig, if i have to reformat it, will it find and mark as bad the corrupted sectors?I need as much help as possible ASAP, I cannot lose my machine at this point in timeok further update., it now seems I can now no longer even access my other drive, however I have a number of background apps that are installed to that drive that are still working at this moment, eg Alcohol 120 and MS OneNote. Any explanations? Im gonna restart and hope to god my other HD doesnt fry for some reason
