I wince everytime I see someone kick above the waist... it is generally suicide in a real, chaotic fight because you'll be knocked off balance.I find there is too much emphasis on looks in today's martial arts training. If you look, for example, at traditional Karate katas, you will never see a kick that is delivered to anything higher then the Inguinal Region (place where the leg joins the torso). Another thing I get annoyed at is martial art instructors emphasizing accuracy over power. In a real "intent to harm fight", your accuracy isn't going to help you as much because things are messy and it is not feasible that every blow you land will be classroom perfect. High powered blows into "generally" weak regions is what will save your butt.

Tanks are too tough... just like in DC. It's silly to watch some tank guy with the repair kit sit outside of spawns and rack up massive kills with no deaths.Helos are a bit weak as well considering how they take dammage from vehicle mounted guns, and couldn't blow up a tank quickly if their life depended on it.How is it not possible for people to find a happy middle for tanks and choppers when you compare them to DC and BFV.Heh, and the RPG and SMAW are clearly overpowered vs infantry... it was like a match of Quake 3 in the swamp area last night... rockets flying everywhere.

Fast and fancy, yes.... but when i see that kind of flash, I think back to that Daffy Duck "buck and a quarter quarter staff" cartoon where he is spinning the staff fast and Bugs sticks his quarter staff straight out and sends Daffy flying

It sounds like vertical shearing.... turn on Vsynch in the Doom settings and see if it goes away.

I always liked CS, it was great to drop in for a few matches when you had some time to kill, but too many cheaters.I guess I just like the whole "you die and you're dead for the round' concept.Hopefully CS:S will take care of the cheater problems, and I can get into the game again.

Well, all done, and now uninstalled until some decent mods come out for it.No, it is not as fun as Serious Sam. It feels more like an Unreal game then an Id game, though the graphics are, of course, incredible. It will make a nice engine for another Aliens vs Predator game, and hopefully we'll see another Jedi game on it. Oh, and maybe Raven Soft will make another Hexen game using this engine :o Squee, there are alot of things you can do to increase performance by changing some things in the configuration file.

I dunno Statecop, the game is very repitiive and annoying. Even if you do go for that kind of thing, spmething like Serious Sam was far more fun. Oh look, once again I cant see, there is the obligatory weak monster trying to get my attention.... I turn around...what a surprise, the wall disapeared and the nasty monster is trying to sneak attack me. It might have been cool if this wasn't the 100th time it happened.
