sry, challanger 2 = pwnage of everything else... even the m1a1's depleted uranium shells cany scratch it, (what use is a big gun if you cant hurt what you are firing at)Although it comes with a slightly smaller bore gun (as standard there is now a c2a with a 121mm cannon) the shells are HEAT depleted Uranium, Discarding sabbot, and fin stabalised, there are also plans to have "guided" (the maneoverable nosecone thingy) shells equipped now.it features a more powerfull engine, can do 75mph~~ unlimited, 45mph (same as abrams) limited. the Targeting computer is more powerfull and sophisticated than the abrams, (its a linux machine whereas the abrams is a MS machine ROFL which means that when it aquires a target, it doesnt bluescreen and say "this tank has performed an illegal operation" and will shut down all systems on the tank)it can carry (AFAIK) more rounds than the abrams can, So, faster, more powerful, better armour, more ammunition, better targeting system, Better ammunition..Yeah the Challanger2 /2a is the best tank in the world.(btw they did tests at the tank firing range about 3 miles from where i live with an american m1a1, usual armourment, and a t-72 mbt, and neither could peirce hte armour of the C2a...)

CD problem is steam updat4e related, ie each update makes steam incompatable with CD, not something this will fix i am affraid

this is a lond long method If you are having a problem with steam updates and the .dll error try these steps Download steam FULL installer from somewhere and FULL FA2.8. Uninstall ANY HALFLIFE componants you have on your system, once you have uninstalled all of anything to do with HL do the same with steam. Reboot. The system needs to be as if it has never had FA, HL or steam on it. (ie directly after a complete format) Run a registry cleaner to get rid of all the rubbish that steam and HL left in the registry then go and delete ALL folders and remaining files that are in any way related to steam (have a look inthe folder if you arent sure, itll contain something with valve or steam in it somewhere) do the same with anything related to the install of Halflife (you dont have to delete downloaded mod installers, models or other tweaks for the games.) Reboot again. After this, Reinstall steam full version DO NOT install anything from ANY halflife CDs that you have (you dont need any of it) Reboot Run steam and let it update (will take approx 30 mins, allow any firewall prompts you should receive 2 or 3 as each new ver installs) it should change to the familiar grey skin with the last update.. this may take a while but bear with it. Reboot AGAIN log on with your usuall account and let steam run in the system tray. you should not need to receive or enter any CD keys if you used the original email that you 1st used, and the full steam install will contain HL, CS, DoD, TFC, DMC opForces and a few others. and they will update as needed. LEAVING STEAM RUNNING IN THE BACKGROUND.. go and now install Firearms 2.8 once you have finished, restart if desired, but FA should be on your 3rd party games list. This will still install everything to where it was before, (c:\prog files\steam\steamapps\youremail\whatever\random.file this has sorted about 10 nameable problems that i have found with steam (<lag >fps faster load times, faster connection times, NO CRASHES AS YET. etc etc.) i think that in the initial conversion (which alot of people run still) from WoN some errors were caused, and because this is a fresh install and the full installer contains all the original Release files of Halflife and associated mods, it goes onto the system much smoother. (+ it sorts out the DLL error)

If you want fast load times you need 4 things..Fast RAM (and lots of it) i am taking DDR400 if you can, or DDR333 if you cant. 1024 meg is a good number right now, affordable and utalised better than less or more.Fast Drive, Serial ATA. preferably 10000RPM< but any sATA drive is goodFast CD/DVD drive (54x is a mist now), for loading games use a reader only, they dont cache like a r/w does and load slightly faster...Optional, Get high quality Internal wiring if you can IDE cables The cat-5 cable between your modem and PC, again high quality USB cabes, any internal leads that are more expensive = a few milliseconds less load time.(look out for oxygen free-copper and gold contacts. (itll cost more but itll make a difference) Dont know if you have a Belkin range of wires over there, just little bit better that the rest,Game Drive (like sam suggested) also helps

sup, i am on the server regularly, as an admin or as a player on the server (its easier to alt-tab out and sort someone out with HLSW).. have a good time and be good you wont have a problem.if you do have any problems, screenshots are good, and condumps. snapshots of the console and sucklike are all good for us as it re-enforces the case against the guy with the problem. come post (with them) in the server suggestions and comlaints forum and they will be dealt with accordingly..most of all have fun on the server.

Ok, you want to A. download adaware, (not sure where from google should know) B do this... do this only.... if you are not computer competant i would advise not doing this!.. First goto Start menu and Run In Run type "Services.msc" without the quotes. and hit ok. You will be presented with a list much like the one in the below picture (this is dependent on your system and may not contain all the files mine does) Scroll down till you see "messanger" double click this option... picture 2. you will be shown a small box with a menu (pulled down) in this box there are 3 options (as shown), Automatic, Manual, and disabled select disable and click apply.
