They made it "Toe Shot and you're dead again"? Last time I played, limb shots hurt bad, but they weren't fatal... but it has been 2 years since I played last. Problem with putting the Baur in singleshot, is I get owned vs a Voss in close up fights. It's easier for me just to run around with a Voss on auto. Zarken, the Best Buy gun is the SCAR... 11 I think? Whereas the default EU gun is the SCAR 10. Best Buy gun handles nicely, got to use it one time. But I hated how it took up half the screen. Voss definatly has a low learning curve, real easy for peaple to master. That's why it has a huge following.

Not going anywhere. And I promise to not disappear again without a really freaking good reason! subscription game=bad for Armory life. Never taking that road ever again.

I love the stopping power of the Baur, and it seems to reload significantly faster than the Voss. However, due to the Voss's low recoil, great fire rate, and huge clip... I get much better results with it up to medium range. It does too little dps at long range to get into a sniping contest with anything except a Lambert or another Voss. I usually depend on rockets at long range. I'm getting kinda bored with the Voss, but having difficulty mastering the Baur. I'm thinking of going back to the SCAR for a bit. I did awesome with that weapon while I used it, but that was before things like APM's and Nades were a dime a dozen.

You noticed that too? I've been playing a little every day all week and those away bonuses just won't stop coming! I know that you can "accumilate" the points and you slowly spend the stockpile of points you've built up from the time you've been away... but surely I should of spent all my points from my couple days away by now...

I've noticed there are quite a few pet owners here who completely understand what you're going thru Wolfy. That's the unfortunate fact of being what we are, we usually outlive our furry friends several times. It's never fun, it's never easy. Just remember the good times. You have my sympathies and condolances.

It's good the problem has been fixed. Being cat's are Carnivores, a few days without eating won't hurt it much as long as he keeps getting fluids.

To be a bit encouraging.... I've been thru that with a couple cats, one of them several times. Only once have I seen one not make it. I've been paranoid about the diet my cats have ever since. At any rate, I wish you the best of luck, I hope things turn out better than you hope.

Underspy is right. We ran into this issue last night in our VSF game. Both teams were highly organised. The team who has the better defenders at the silos seemed to win out. We only beat them the first game because we decided on a 100 percent desperate assault on their Titan that worked, but man it was a nailbiter. I did notice something last night that I think may alot of times kill the titans faster without peaple noticing it. In our second round, I took it upon myself to defend the middle missle silo. There was a period of about 5 to 10 minutes while their shields where down where a guy kept trying to take the silo by himself. He managed to get it gray several times, but I'd always retake it back. When he was done trying, I noticed their Titan shields had gone down considerably. It got me thinking.... Missle Silos always fire every 2 minutes, but if an enemy can get it gray in about 30 secs. I take it back in the same amount of time.... moment the flag turns back to myself the silo fires... so in my enemies FAILED attempts to take the silo from me, he's essentially allowed me to make my silo send missles at his Titan almost twice as fast for a few minutes! The motto? Don't try to take silos alone, go with a friend. It does no good to make it go gray if the enemy is going to take it back and get a free missle.

As the self proclaimed vehicle killer, I offer the following general guidelines to go by.... On a tank and NPC.... NEVER waste a shot on the front. If they have even the slightest turn where you can see the sides, go for the that. Even if your angle is very extreme, the shot will still count for full if you hit the side of the vehicle. TWO Pilum shots to the sides of any tank or apc will kill it. On a walker, if you can't get the underside vent shot, go for the legs. The turret is a waste of time. This is why some walker pilots will crouch, it gives you less "leg" to shoot at. 2 to 3 shots to the legs will take a walker down. If it has a supply box, shoot the supply box first is generally a good rule (1 shot with a Pilum KO's the box). You are going to have to take at least 3 shots regardless, it's better to make sure it doesn't keep healing if you fail. The "Crotch Shot" on the walker is not always an automatic kill. On a 100% healthy walker, it actually takes the walker to the edge of death where it starts burning. You have approx 3-5 secs before it will explode. Many experianced pilots will bail, bring out your SMG and be ready for them. Some Engies will use the SMG to deliver the finishing blow as the Vents are also vulnerable to small arms fire (1 hp per shot). I once finished off a heavily damaged walker using a Voss by shooting these vents. Also, you don't have to be right under the walker... sometimes from a low profile you can make the shot from short distance, I've done it 3 times that I can remember. Keeping in mind the inaccuracy of the pilum, it's not something I would try regularly unless you're desperate the down the Walker in one shot and can't get under it. The links cover the other weak spots, so I won't go into that. But this was general advice because 90 percent of the time, you aren't going to have that "Sweet" shot you want and have to make due with these weaker areas.

I took Gator's advice way back when the game was new and went purple/violet. I haven't looked back since.

I did notice that our server was never full in the time I was on last night. We were always down 6 to 8 peaple. I sometimes wonder if that contributed to the more "wide open" games as well. JC, myself, and others discussed both this and APM's FF before this all came up. I'm in the camp that thinks that 48 peaple on a 32 player map contributes more to spam than FF off, but I may amend my opinion depending on how the weekend goes. Yesterday was enjoyable for me. I only got TK'd from a bad Claymore once, and I guess i placed my Motion Mines right because I didn't get any TK's. In fact, I was still my usual "Vehicle Killer" self all night. Didn't hurt my game as much as I thought. I'm on the fence now, let's see how the weekend goes.

This feedback is much appreciated, it's what we were looking for. On a personal note, I have to admit I think I found a way to make my Motion Mines work for me with FF on. On Berlin today I found a wide gap and used a combo of EMP mines and Motion Mines. I placed the EMP mines at a slant so that any incoming enemy will see the open place to their left and head that way... right into some waiting Motion Mines. Whereas my teammates, from their side they saw both and I'm pleased to say every Walker and APC driver on my team was smart enough to drive over the EMP's instead, suffering only a slight slowdown and my trap only being slightly messed up but easily fixed. I managed to get my first Explosive Efficiancy pin on motion mine kills instead of the usual APM's. The real test will be Gibralter... that's where I want to see how FF impacts our game. I didn't get a chance to get to it as the server crashed we got to that map and the cycle and I decided I was just too pissed off to have a pleasant game.

Fired a Browning 50cal once. I cackled like a mad man all the while. LOL Looks like you had a blast, I can't help but be a bit envious.
