Yes, I'm going to. It also needs new thermal pads/tape. I wonder if that acx 2.0 fan shroud will fit on this heatsink. Krazy, is that heatsink the same? If not, I'm sure I can retrofit that shroud. Nothing a few zip ties won't solve.

I bought it in November 2013 so its past warranty. I've been reading other forums and people have had issues with aftermarket fans not fitting properly, wires not correct length, etc. I was looking at the Accelero Xtreme gpu cooler and that does fit but its almost $80. I still haven't started taking it apart just yet but I'm hoping I can get buy with a suitable replacement fan. I'm sure I can find one. The stock heatsink/fan mount seems sufficient. I'm not sure I want to start tearing it apart and removing the heatsink but I guess I can just put new thermal paste on it and have piece of mind. I've never replaced a video cards fan before and I've never spent this much on just a card so I'm gonna fix it vs replace.

I'm sorry, I can't make it. One of the fans on my video card failed yesterday and I don't want to risk it until I get it fixed. It's a hot running card as it is.

It's a GIGABYTE GV-N780OC-3GD REV2.0 I read there are aftermarkst cooling solutions. I looked for awhile and didn't find any oem fans for sale, just aftermarket ones. Why is my typing white? I dont know if I'm ready to replace this card, it was $500!

Well my gpu fan on my gtx 780 took a crap tonight. It started rattling loudly then stopped. Didn't overheat the card but now I need to get it fixed. I'm not finding a replacement fan anywhere! I see a lot of aftermarket universal coolers. Anyone ever try one of them?

Yes, I did but I hope to see you playing here. You'll be hard pressed to find other servers and a community as good as the Armory. I agree with Patches that you should get into teamspeak. It's another method we use to weed out hackers and some admins just prefer it that way. Axle is, and has always been fair and he will treat you fair. Like I said in the private message to you a couple days ago, get on Teamspeak and ask for Axlerod and or Decaff.

TheDeady, you must remember that BF4 is a difficult platform to admin. It's not like counter strike where one can quickly spectate a user and visually confirm exploits. With BF4, an admin must refer to stats. I do not blame the admin for immediately banning based on seeing a red stat even when not in the server regardless of KDR. We are grateful of the work our banning admins do. I do however find fault with not accurately and hastily investigating and therefore expediting this unban request. There is obviously some policy changes and education that needs to happen on The Armory's part. We hope, and I believe you'll forgive the Armory for looking after its playerbase and banning suspicious players amidst the collateral damage regarding innocent and talented BF4 players. It's going to continue to happen. What I call on the banning admins is to be more open minded to the larger admin subset within TAC and to weigh ban removal requests carefully and quickly. If that can't be done, then ban removal requests should be facilitated by those interested and willing to go on record. It should not be anonymous and those banning should clearly state their reasons. If there is any doubt, the ban should not hold.

Why can't the reasons for his ban be posted at a minimum in the clan section so the rest of the clan can see how ridiculous and weak the allegations are. God forbid I toggle between med pack and defib too many times lest I be accused of hacking too.

I totally agree. One of the worst things is being accused of hacking when you're just playing good. People know I can play pretty good in the jet for example and I can target infantry and not many people can do that, but it's because I have so much experience and I know what to look for and yes, I can see little bodies running around and I can target them and kill them. But then when I start racking up a large kill streak, sometimes I start getting questioned, etc... Being accused of hacking sucks when you're just good and playing good. Another thing that gives others an advantage is a great sound system. I use a Soundblaster ZXR and audiophile AD700x headphones, I can close my eyes and I can find someone. I don't even need to SEE. I can also shoot through walls and track the enemy through walls using sound. Yes, it's not accurate like an aimbotter, but I totally understand the feeling being accused or the comments made because I'm prefiring, etc... TheDeady also is part of ESL, CEVO, not so sure about others. But this shows he is a competitive player. My vote is to unban, but I'll leave it to the banning admin. I'm done here.

I watched part of the video earlier, not the whole thing but I didn't see anything suspicious from what I saw. Our admins ban on site anyone showing red stats. So just be patient. I can explain the K/KA stat. Since he plays so much at a bolt action only server, anytime he doesn't kill someone with the m98b, it is going to leave his target with so little health that it'll nearly guarantee the kill assist.

My only concern about this ban is that according to his battle reports, he has played a lot of sniper matches as he claims (approx 50%). If K/KA is Kill/KillAssist, that would explain his high ratio. His favorite weapon is the m98b. None of his other stats are suspicious. Also, user has provided a 6 digit steam ID. It would be rare to own a steam ID that old and be a cheater. Investigation has showed he is a member in good standing with CEVO. My vote has now changed

Is that data out of date? I ran my own tag against the database and it showed me last playing over a year ago.

Get a hifi analog headset like the audio technica series and pair it with a virtualsurround soundcard. You can virtually adjust surround positions with the right software. Soundblaster cards also have a recon mode. I use a soundblaster zxr and an audio technica ad700x. Very good setup.
