  1. Love em! Me want!
  2. Heck yea Gator! You got a response, great job and great open letter! At least we know more now!
  3. ARMA 3 is an almost perfect but Gator is right, PVP is laggy. It's such a shame because ARMA is very immersive and seems to be more of a social type game. You can hang around for awhile, let everyone get geared up, all hop in the same vehicle, take a good long road trip the objective, and when it's least expected a huge fight breaks out and there you are trying to take cover and saving your friends. I like the KOTH mode but it can get pretty laggy. I'm hoping we do go back to it in the future and see if we can do something about the PVP lag.
  4. Haha, I'd definitely take a Harley Speederbike and a dual blades saber
  5. They call that the Geezer Glide because I'm the only one taking a bagger to work! Looks like our days are numbered. Hitting below freezing tonight and snow.
  6. I am seeing hackers banned all the time in BF1. Are they forced to buy a new copy of the game every time they are banned? I hate hackers and I wish Dice would do something serious about it...
  7. Still have to join the match as spectator, but here is some info for your reading pleasure, https://www.battlefield.com/news/article/battlefield-1-spectator-mode
  8. Excellent point(s) Dan. It costs nothing to add the word "Friendly" and in my opinion, it would add exactly the effects you describe. I feel that if some new person browsing the servers found only two servers, both with nearly identical server names but one with "Friendly" in the title, that person would likely be more willing try the friendly server out first. Sounds like a decent edge to help getting players into the server to me!
  9. The website looks beautiful. Really good job G
  10. I also bought the standard version from Amazon. $47.99 is hard to beat!
  11. Site looks nice and it's easy on the eyes. The news article scroll is a neat feature. How does an article get placed there? I'm seeing the "welcome to the Armory" scroll twice when I swipe it. Great job Gator!
  12. I think we should all keep ARMA 3 loaded on our PC's just in case BF1 flops somehow and pisses everyone off. At least ARMA is cheap to purchase
  13. It is crap that they don't tell us more about Battlefield 1. I just don't get the secrecy. This isn't normal. They have always told us well in advance that there will be servers or hardcore mode with the past Battlefield releases. I get your frustration Axle. We kind of need to know because we are a privately funded, established clan. If server rentals would just be confirmed, it would at least give our members a chance to build up our finances a bit and prepare. I mean, what is their motivation to keep this stuff secret for so long? Do they want to surprise us? I am just your typical gamer lemming, but yea I do admit if they came out next week and said, "Here is the news you have been waiting for, you will be able to rent servers! And guess what, hardcore mode is included free of charge!", I will probably jump up and down with joy like a little kid getting a dollar from the tooth fairy. I'm betting that EA/DICE simply 'aren't ready'. It's much easier to hide behind the veil of secrecy than to verify to us an actual product that they are legally obligated to include as part of a sale. It's likely that the software simply isn't relliable or ready. Frustrations aside, my best friends are getting the game and during the chance I had to play beta, I really enjoyed it. They did get right several must-have items for me, like the ability to game with all my friends and control customization, plus the game was immersive to me and I got the feeling that I was in the great war hiding behind a rock while an older crank started armored tank drove past me. I"m shaking a fist at EA/DICE for being assholes, but yea, I'm still getting the game.
  14. botnet# sudo ping -f www.battlelog.com Destination host unreachable.
  15. You can rate the video here: It's Poop!
  16. You'd probably do better by opening a massage parlor in Hollywood
  17. The quote, "Everything about rental servers and how that will work", tells me that there will definitely be rental servers.
  18. Cool, reviewed my settings. Nice feature! I like the pm pop-up!
  19. Want another use for LGS? It can make semi-automatic weapons fully auto. Just like the anti-recoil suggestion that can be configured using a macro, it would seem like macros are certainly cheating except that DICE/EA actually endorse macro enabled products. http://www.razerzone.com/licensed-and-team-peripherals/battlefield-4 Sorry to say guys, but it appears like macros are the new norm and here to stay and as long as there is a legal advantage, I will be using it just like drawing a dot on my screen. So if I always get the vehicle, you know why.
  20. Macros can be added under the multi key settings. http://www.everythingusb.com/media/logitech-g300-multi-key.jpg I'll tell you how LGS can be used to detune weapon kick. Most weapons have a certain amount of kick that increases over time. Most players compensate by tapping the fire button. However, one could gain a precise edge by using LGS to tap the fire button with optimal time intervals. Once again, something like this was definitely considered a cheat at one time. But now it's legal? To me, this isn't gray area at all, this is cheating. But those who have access to LGS can use these types of macros legally.
