I agree, I was just going to say that. I like rotations. Yeah, groups may leave when a certain map plays but oh well. I like to sit and play all the maps.

Well I had a pretty fun time in Elite Dangerous this weekend. Thanks to TomC and Gator, they got me up and going pretty good. I'm still flying a little piece of crap ship but I have enough credits now to get a nice ship. The flying in this game is pretty amazing and definitely feels like a simulation game now. I'm still doing the training missions and just getting better at the flight systems. Overall, I'm happy I got it.

I should be able to start playing early Saturday morning. I don't know if anyone will be on but I should be. What time is everyone planning on playing ED? I stayed up pretty late last night getting as much work done as possible. With any luck, I should be all finished up tonight so I can enjoy the weekend!

Ok, just got the deluxe package! I hope to be able to start playing it this weekend or early next week. Unfortunately, I have a lot of work I'm doing from home at the moment and it may drag on into the weekend.

Cosmetic micro-transactions can be valuable if done right and it doesn't have to hurt the underlying game and pay-to-win. Just look at Fortnite. My kid loves that game and she almost always spends all her allowance on skins, gliders, and dances. I kind of get it, but a person doesn't have to spend a penny and still be just as competitive as the next person with hundreds of dollars in skins. Same thing with PUBG, don't have to spend anything and it's the same game across the board, I think. There may be one gun in PUBG that you have to pay for. I really hope BFV doesn't have pay to win, but just skins for sale. I'll probably buy a couple nice skins and call it good.

I love The Expanse. I still need to watch Season 3. It's so funny, I was just thinking about it this morning that I need to go buy it on Amazon.

I think the attrition aspect of the game sounds interesting. I do like the idea of making some aspects of the game harder and enforcing better team play. I just checked out a video of the graphics, looks really good!

The main page and login are secure when using https and the sig isn't affecting it. The main page and login can be accessed using http and are insecure and it doesn't appear to be redirecting to https. This page in https is also insecure probably due to the sigs like you're saying.

The whole website looks nice Gator! I logged in today and noticed it said insecure connection. Is the redirect from http to https working?

Hey Decaff, I don't play Arma any more but I still have it. I've been playing PUBG a lot. It's sort of similar. I tried to get back into Arma and I love the whole idea of it but it sucked without everyone playing it.

I've been waiting for this game for years, literally years. This game was announced many years ago. It was originally billed as an alternative to Star Wars Galaxies. Since then, it appears the graphics have changed enormously. The graphics when this game were first announced looked very similar to the old time Star Wars Galaxies. Now, it appears much more modern. If I had to guess, this game has been in development for at least seven years, if not longer. I am not so sure that is real 'gameplay' in this video however. It looks more to me like a rendered demo. I hope it's not.

SWBF would be good if they made it more complex, at least as complex as BF4 if not more so. So many things missing like bullet spread and ADS but the flying was the death knell for me. All I had to do to fly the aircraft was just point the mouse and shoot and control throttle and brake. There was no yaw, no roll, literally just point and shoot...

May as well give up your smartphone then. I don't know about you, but I'm paying $150 a month for a family smartphone plan and that is getting beyond ridiculous already. Not only that, but two of the major cellphone companies want to merge... Yea, T-Mobile sucks as far as coverage, but they are like mad lowering costs for their own service and actually forced Verizon to drop their prices a bit. Which companies aren't out to bone us? If we are lucky, we'll get a company like AT&T ready put their ass on the line and offer a cut-rate service at a loss just to get word of mouth.

I signed up just for all the discovery, science channel, and history channel video on demand :-D
