  1. Quick Formatting is all that is necessary and should get all your space back and you can do that using your OS. Other programs aren't necessary. It sounds like you had a backup partition or something. Delete all partitions, merge and then format.
  2. Looks good, we have a new director now
  3. Congratulations, you've been promoted from our ban list to our official TAC Drama Episode list! This is quite a rare accomplishment. You've earned this onerous badge by unapologetically trying to explain your perpetually adolescent and immature behavior. In other words, you don't fit in here. Beat it!
  4. Yea good call. 60hz just isn't ready for prime time
  5. I haven't been able to get online as much as I'd like because of my 8 year old and all her friends were gone for the holidays and when I can get a free moment it was too early, but I will be on tonight and I can't wait to try the new server with lots of people!
  6. That's pretty cold already Patches. I remember fishing in -20F last year here in Colorado and it was so cold it burns. It's 46F here in Colorado right now. Seems pretty warm actually for this time of year and no snow in the city.

It's looking really nice. You're really good Patches
  8. I'm trying to help out at the moment. I put in for a quote at myinternetservices for a BF4 server based in US. It also appears that nitrado.net has 60 Hz 70 slot servers based in US I haven't tried to order them though to see if they really do offer a 60hz 70 slot, but it appears it can be ordered. Fragnet 64 man 60 hz $83.84/mo Nitrado server 70 man 60 hz $83.20/mo with "professional services" Not so sure about Nitrado. Only two US server locations, instant phone support but overseas telephone number.
  9. My friends list is quite full but I've noticed many aren't playing or some are even playing at other servers. I guess maybe it's time to purge and fill up with newer more active players. I'll get on it.
  10. I was in the server earlier today too by myself for at least a half hour or more. Got bored so I started racing a jeep by myself in pearl market. Couldn't start it and no one on was online though but I was hoping. Wish I could hop on right now but I'm hanging out with the 8 year old who is actually becoming a pretty good gamer herself already. I may be able to get on late though.
  11. If we change our provider, I think we should run an advert in our server for a week or more saying to search for and bookmark the new TAC server. Especially when full, we can let our players know. We don't have a problem filling our server at 30hz but I do wish we could play at 60hz but keep the player count the same.

    Looks fancy
  13. So I found a way to keep dust almost entirely out of my computer. Just a few facts about my PC: I leave it on almost 24/7, I rarely shut it down unless I'm rebooting for some update. I wouldn't be surprised if my PC has been basically constantly running for the entire year. Last time I opened my PC was probably about 2 years ago. Yesterday, I did some hardware updates to my PC and I was dreading opening it up because I was expecting lots of dust. I had almost no dust at all in there! The trick is filtering the intakes and keeping the PC pressurized with air. The way to keep the PC pressurized is to have more intake fans running than exhaust fans. Or basically, the PC needs more intake air displacement than exhaust. On my PC, I have four intake fans and three exhaust fans. If the case is pressurized, air escapes all nooks and crannies versus air entering nooks and crannies. If the air is filtered, then it is clean and no dust. If the case has more exhaust fans than intake, then the PC draws in air from everywhere and every nook and cranny of the case. You'll know that you have too many exhaust fans if you find dust accumulating around the DVD drive, around the corners of the case, etc... If you have more intake fans than exhaust, then dust will accumulate just around the intake. My case is an Antec 500 case and the front two fans are filtered. I also have two more intake fans on the sides without filters. I made my own filters using blue plastic furnace filter material from the hardware store and cut out squares that fit perfectly over the intake fans. It was like 2 dollars for the filter and I've used it already about three times and I probably have enough material that I can use it one more time. I taped the filters to my case using 2" wide masking tape. Yea, it doesn't look the prettiest but my case is in an open faced enclosure under my desk so no one can see my custom made filters. So yesterday, I was completely expecting to find lots of dust in my computer despite the filters installed knowing it's been probably two years since I've opened it but I was very surprised. I didn't blow anything out of my case, and I mean there was nothing in there. I should've taken a picture, it was clean. I've had CPU fans and GPU fans fail being clogged with dust, well my fans looked nearly brand new! The filters were all a complete mess though. I threw away the side and rear case filters and cleaned the front filter but they did their job and kept the insides clean. I'll bet the GPU and CPU, and power module fans last much longer and I'll get less overheating because of it.
  14. Forums are looking and working really good by the way Gator.
  15. Dice might have started off pretty crappy, but they sure finished off this game pretty well. Yes, I spent a lot of money on this game (average price for a good game is $90 nowadays anyway), but it was well worth it. I don't see myself giving up BF4 for a long time.
  16. What the heck is happening? Is origin hacked? Isn't this the 2nd report this week of hacked origin account?
  17. I'm glad things are mostly worked out and that we will continue to work things out. One thing I've noticed is hackers never join our teamspeak and hang out. Hackers have broken into our teamspeak before but they just give us headaches for a few days and then they are gone. So chances are, no one who hangs out in our teamspeak hacks. Our clans very nature is anti-hack. We always talk and shout about hacking in Teamspeak and yes, maybe someone gets unfairly banned, but that is what our ban appeals process is for. And if you feel someone is hacking, bring it up in Teamspeak or if you feel someone is hacking in our clan, pm someone like Axlerod, Gator. You're a good player too and amazing in the tank 2-O, and so I'm sure you receive your own fair share of hackusations. TAC needs players with your skill level in the tank, your passion for teamwork, and I'm glad that these forum issues are being resolved. It's not without consequences though, we lost Auvy in this mess.
  18. <3 Patches
  19. Just like on Shanghai, everyone is focused on getting C while me and like three others go around capping all the flags. Then C falls down and nobody seems to care. If they'd remove the k/d stats from the game and save it for the end of the round we wouldn't have so many stat whores What also pisses me off is when I'm the squad leader and call a flag and nobody goes wtf use common sense
  20. Looks nice Gator and I like the Battlefront background. Seems like we are getting some phantom or hacked registration posts. See that?
  21. Agreed! This is totally bullshot by the way and I have some rules too. When you squad with me or on my team, always watch my damn back and if you see someone trying to knife me please please shoot them first. If I have to take another damn knife in the back with my squad mates around me I'm going postal.
  22. With all the net code changes, I hope it doesn't affect our brothers and sisters from other countries
  23. The problem is these video game companies need to put a larger portion of video game profits towards hack detection. Increase funding or something. If they're willing to spend enough to stay ahead of hackers, we'd be better off. I'd spend probably an extra 10-15 dollars a game if I knew it was hack free.
  24. Bye bye FLIR....
