It takes ALOT for peaple to get banned for hacking bro. Usually when one of us starts to suspect, all the admins in the ventrilo channel start to watch the suspect from first person and look for suspicious behavior. This usually goes on over the course of a half hour. We don't ban peaple lightly for cheating... we look for enough behaviors that convince us BEYOND A SHADOW OF A DOUBT that the person is hacking. Yes, sound is your friend. I used to go by the handle "DeadSilence" in the CS:Beta days because I used stealth to my advantage. My soundcard isn't all that hot (Sound Blaster Live! *Snickers*) and I STILL catch alot of peaple around corners because I play with headphones.... and sometimes get hit with a "wallhacker!" accusation. At anyrate.... I think it's been established that the ban wasn't for suspected hacking, but for bad behavior. We have a low tolarance for the kind of crap you see on the typical CS server. I myself have a pretty low tolerance for it.. We'll warn you first, as is our policy (the exception being racism... I insta kick for that). You fail to heed our warnings, we will take action. Keep your replys civil, like you have today, and you will get not only respect, but your problem will be dealt with fairly. I hope this clears up any confusion you may of had. I hope that when you all return we can put this aside and continue to play in the spirit of friendly competition and sportsmanship.
  2. .... This making fun of peaple is such vicious ways is starting to get old.
  3. *cackles gleefully*Thanks Santa! Your farewell address gave me the best laugh I had all night!"Mess with Santa, you mess with <TAC>!" ROFL!
  4. Take it easy bro. Broken bones are never fun to deal with. I've been fortunate that I've only broken a finger and a toe in my lifetime.
  5. My point exactly. There's empty corners of space around his head that register as a "headshot". Thus, IMO, makes the hitbox too big. The Doom 3 system sounds sweet. Was tthinking of getting that this weekend actually.
  6. *cackles gleefully*That was good stuff. Cheered me up after a hard day of work.
  7. I have to concur with comrade LORD ORION on TA.... Total Annihilation to date has been my best RTS experiance EVER. Only one that came close to it's playability was C&C Generals and that one pales in comparasen. You can have up to FIVE HUNDRED units on each side of the battlefield! Easily 1/3 of the vehicles used are tanks.Battle by air, land or even sea! The map diversity will fill all your needs. Launch amphivious assault with hovertanks or units that walk on the bottom of the ocean, take your pick! Music is composed by Jeremy Seole, who's game credits are longer than I can remember but a few of you might know his work from Morrowind, Neverwinter Nights, and Natural Selection.Unit's do collateral damage when destroyed.... Nukes that actually hurt like hell when they hit, side specific missles that disable or destroy the enemy without harming their own units.... mines, vehicles, battle robots called KBots, planes, sea planes, ships... all yours.Play it, you'll like it. Just don't do what my friend Orion did and fall under the power of the evil CORE consciousness..... join the ARM resistance and fight the power man! LOL
  8. ... thank god I have Firefox and don't normally hear it..... yuk

Fix the sticky prone bug, hitbox issues, balance the weapons like they're supposed to be, beef up the sound effects on alot of guns (because they sound downright wimpy), and I'll give it a try.But the original FA..... it's been deleted from my drive never to return. I'll be on our CS:S server in the meantime kicking ass... when mine isn't getting kicked instead.
  10. Ahhh, so proof the head hitbox is indeed too big. Thank you

If the community is anything like the drivel I see on the current FA forums.... forget it. I'll even HELP it die.
  15. Thing that drives peaple crazy about CS:S, is the seemingly random crazyness that occasionally occurs. Half the battles occur around who gets the first head shot and nothing else. So occasionally you'll see something crazy like some guy trying to place careful shots with an AK-47 at a guy who just jumped across his view spraying with an MP5... and the MP5 kills the AK'r with a lucky headshot. Makes peaple crazy when lucky stuff like that happens. I once got called a hacker for taking down 4 peaple in a single clip with a P90.... all I did was strafe across the hall and spray into a group of CT's. Shoot, 50 round magazine, and about 6 CT's, I was bound to hit SOMETHING I figured. Didn't know I was going to Headshot 2 and kill 2 more in that strafe :PAt anyrate, the game looks sweet. And what makes it fun is the peaple I play with. I get bored fast and stop playing when our regulars leave the server.
  16. No thank you. I've been destroyed for competitive play perminently
  17. Yum, Neverwinter. I need to take that up again and go thru the expansions.
  18. Jeez, I couldn't do that. I'm just happy to kick back in my chair, plop the keyboard in my lap, and prop my feet up on my subwoofer.
  19. That ain't sayin' much 8)
  20. <P>To date, the only game that made me motion sick was the Doom series. However, HL2 has been added to that list. I had also been playing non-stop for a very long time tho. But yah, it happened to me. Nothing a little Pepto couldn't fix.</P>
  21. I'm not holding my breath either. :/
  22. Okay guys, if this thread erupts further into flames I will be forced to lock it. Please keep it civil.BTW... this clan will eventually go to BF2 last I heard
  23. LOL, interesting shot there. Did you discover the same thing I did that using the gravity gun on the saw blades has the nice effect of ripping apart multiple crab-zombies in a line? Man, my jaw dropped when I picked one up and tried it and took out a whole hall full of zombies. These two situations crossed my path... thank god I had the presence of mind to hit F5 because they turned out gorgous! and of course this one
  24. OMG, I just ADORE this game :DThe whole "Mankind has been subverted by a superior race" theme is awesome! The little camera things floating around taking pictures of me doing nothing but my own business just creeped me out. I kept looking over my shoulder. I wanted to say "Would you stop following me around DAMMIT?!" LOLWell worth the buy. They have truly outdone themselves.
  25. Just keep Speedball out. That map contributed to my decision to stop play FA for awhile
