  1. Let's not forget TFC2 getting postphoned as well. I'm thru with these companies and their series.
  2. Shoot, I just watch it. I don't give a rats ass about the culture or anything, just a good story. -_- Then again, I consider "Pinky And The Brain" great TV
  3. It's about bloody time

That's odd, most drivers just install themselves from an exe file. :/
  5. I work that time of day, good luck guys.
  6. erm, link isn't working
  7. You got my attention, thinking of going back to dC for awhile.
  8. If you have an interest in history and would like to read about what it was like to "be there", there was a book I read repeatedly and gleaned insight from and would like to recomend. It's called "Chickenhawk" by Robert C Mason. My dad picked up this book when I was in high school. He would do that... he would pick up something that would have to do with the conflict like a board game or a book, then lay it aside unused. I guess he felt he was ready to face that part of him and discovered over and over again he wasn't ready to dredge up those feelings and deal with them.I, on the otherhand, was intensly curious about Vietnam. My dad went thru that crap. Unfortunatly, he spoke very little of it, and at times acted as if he was ashamed to have been there. To date, he has only told me 2 stories from that time in his life. I grabbed this book off his shelf and devoured it.My dad wasn't a Huey pilot like this guy, but it gave much the much needed insight as to what he went thru. After I read it, I stopped asking... I understood.Anyway, I thought some of you who actually read might like to look into it. Amazon still sells the book, so it appears it's still available. Hope you guys like it.
  9. Thing is man, I'm not drawing just off my Steam experiance, I'm drawing off my experiance with Halflife as well. That game has never been stable on my system. Fun to play, yes, tons. But the Quake series was a helluva alot more stable on my systems.
  10. The issues with Steam have soured my Attitude toward Valve. While the features of Steam are nice, the bad programing (shoot, HL still crashes on my system) makes me leery of anything else Valve puts out. Id software has always made a solid product. While sometimes it's not always up to the hype, the games have usually been (in my experiance) stable and fun to play.Halo 2 I have no opinion of.
  11. DC is worth it. I bought BF1942 just for it. Although it ended up I like BF1942, so there you go. LOL
  12. Keeping in mind that I just clean installed this system from a brand new hard drive 7 days ago....I have 4600 fragmented files on my drive. I suspect strongly as other do that most of it is the BFV installation.Dinko said his game ran much better after running the defrag, I'll be trying the same overnight. I'll let you guys know how it worked.
  13. BFV takes some getting used to. Alot of peaple are turned off when they get ambushed repeatedly. The maps are so easy to hide in, and when your the type of person who's used to rushing forward and blasting everything you see... you don't seem to do as well in this game. I learned after an hour of frustration you need to either move with a team or move slow and carefully in BFV
  14. Well, answer me this....Are you the type that likes to be locked in a dogfight thousands of feet into the air?Does the thought of playing cat and mouse with a tank armed with nothing but an RPG and mines appeal to you?Are you the type that likes to look down the scope of an M82 thru the smoke and dust of combat, patiently waiting for that guy your watching to hold still that one second so you can pick him off half a map away?Do you like to charge from building to building, AR blazing while dodging bullets from a Blackhawk circling above you?Are you the kind of person who, upon having a barrage of MLRS rockets explode around him blowing dirt and smoke into the air and think "I'm gonna die, but damn this is cool!"Do you like to idea of hiding in the bushes with a detonator in hand, waiting for a tank to run by some C4 you hidden on the side of the road?If you answered yes to any of these, then get the games These games have these things and more. Want screenies? Check our gallery, you can see the game's quality is up there.

I have something simular to that called Disk Doctor that resurfaces CD's. It's saved me a ton of money in the CD's and Games I was able to fix

With some very minor tweaks with the M60 kits, I'd be 100 percent satisfied with thisi game M60 kit is a bit on the overpowered side right now.
  17. I upgraded my ATI drivers last night (Radeon 9000) and the game performance improved. I can run half the maps in 800X600X32 with modest settings, and in lower res I can crank up more of the features. I you can play DC, chances are you can play BF:V with some tweaking.Current systemAMD 2200+ Underclocked at 1.65 ghz384 megs of DDR MemRadeon 9000 with 128 megs of video ramXP systemOld Sound Blaster Live! sound card.
  18. For me it's usuallyRun out of spawn, jump down the well, crawl out and place a claymore. Rush across the rocks, run into a blue guy, spray for the chest and work up to the head. Run off to reload, spin, get another guy before I get an M16 bullet to the head. Run out of spawn, jump down the well, crawl out and *BAM!* Oh hell, I forgot I put that claymore there....
  19. Once again, Gator comes thru for us. We can't thank you enough bro
  20. Performance wise, I'm pleasantly suprised. The game runs fairly well on my system at the 640X480 32 bit with graphic detail at medium. I can also bump up the res and get comparable performance if I knock the color detail down to 16. Certain air maps will lag me alot, but I have alot of room to tweak and adjust for optimum performance. As for the game itself, first impressions are good. Although I think Orion terribly over estimated the power of the Scoped M16. The Scoped M16 is fairly effective up to medium ranges, but the M21 pwns it at extreme ranges. I see me and the M21 getting along very well :)The M60 loadouts are a bit overpowered. Imagine being able to carry a M249 and an RPG... that's basically what these loadouts are. M60 will totally own anybody who get's in it's spray, and the rocket launcher will down a tank in 2 shots. However, it's M79 loadout is very sweet. The M79 has a kick ass tiger stripe texture ;)The Heli's are terribly easy to drive, but I still find I have a hard time aiming and keeping my alititude. I think they drop altitude faster than the DC copters. I also find them a hell of alot harder to land. I do see myself pulling some time in them running airdrops as I can get close enough to the ground for peaple to get in.
  21. Best I did was a 36 Salvation Paly/Zeal Paladin
  22. Good, then I can take my copy of Paint It Black and distribute it to everybody else because IT WILL be playing when I'm driving.
  23. There are better MMORPGs out there to be quite honest. But my wife adores the game and I'm not gonna argue with free game time. I'm trying to stand firm on my decision to NOT buy EQ2 but the wife seems bound and determined she wants to play it
  24. If it's the computer, I'm going to junk the damn thing and get a T-Bird that just needs heads we already have for it put on.
